@alwaters625

That was my major concern as well coming down there. But I thought my wedding coordinator did an excellent job!! I think when I had that meeting with her and showed her everything I wanted she delivered that and so much more!! When you are dealing with the coordinators through email, you do feel rushed but once you get down there they make you feel more at ease!

Hey gals!

It's been a while since I've posted, but we're only a few months out (May 1st) and are trying to figure out a few things...  DJ vs Ipod/speakers/mic?

For any past brides, recommendations / pros and cons?

And does anyone know if the DJ considered an outside vendor, so the prices listed + the 500$?

I'm sure I'll have a few more qs as time goes on, thanks!

The big day is finally almost here...only 1 week to go! I will be leaving for Punta Cana this Sunday, so if anyone has any questions or wants pictures of areas of the resort or anything while I am down there, please let me know soon! This blog has been so helpful to me in my planning and I would love to be able to help others in any way I can! I will post details about my wedding when I get back...sometime right after Christmas probably!

Hey everyone,

Did anyone planned a group excursion off-site as part of their wedding week?  We've been on a few before (catamaran tours), loved them, but have never tried to book for 47 people...  Any recommendations for companies, if you booked before you went or just waited to book in the lobby the first or second day etc???

Thanks!

Dana

Hi ladies!

Ok I'm having a little panic attach here! We are going in March 2016 and I JUST realized how extremely far away and inconvenient the "deluxe garden view" rooms are from the actual resort/beach .. I'm actually mad right now. We used a travel agent and I had been to the resort when it was Eden h and loved it, but we stayed in the Bravaro Building & Punta Cana Buildings!!

My question is, when I asked my agent how I can get us in the other buildings (still waiting on the $ to upgrade) she says "I can't guarantee anything it's up to the resort when you get there" which makes me so mad and wonder why the heck I used her in the first place!!!! I'm wondering if i contact the resort if there is anything they will do for me??? I'm so upset about this and we have 35 people going so I feel like someone should be helping us out here considering we are already paying $1900 a person to go here!! If I would have known this I probably wouldn't have chosen this resort .. I'm so bummed :(

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
