the large totes bags:

14 1/2" x 15 1/2" with 11 1/4" handles.  $11.50 for 12

small tote bags:

poly nonwoven tote, 6" x 6" with 4 1/2" handles. $6.25 for 12

they looks like the material bags that you get at the grocery store, make sense? i would probably do the small ones just for price purposes!

Oh! And my colors are ivory, blush (pale pink), champagne & gold. Not really tropical colors for a Hawaii wedding but I love the classic look of these colors. And I'm so girly so you know I HAVE to have pink. I'm not a fan of hot pink though... Anyhow, most of my wedding inspiration comes from Karen Tran (amazing florist) if you were girly and into flowers!! Haha. Are you planning on decorating your arch with flowers? Or just fabric?

I think I found another Hawaii bride! She is getting married at Turtle Bay. Lol. Maybe I can bring her over to our thread. I really wish Hawaii brides posted more on here =/

flowers: no idea! I want a cascade, i know it's old school, but i think Hawaiian flowers look amazing like this. but honestly I'm not a flower girl. so I don't want too much money spent on flowers. I wouldn't mind a DIY or fakes? I don't know

DJ: Gannon's only allows certain ones. so I have to contact them.

Photobooth: Something I was hoping my NJ photographer was going to do (which was originally a plan B) but now it's not looking good, so back to plan A. (weird to go with B before A -- haha)

decorations/centerpieces: I'm trying to figue a way to do sashes for chairs cheap, b/c Gannon's charges $7 a chair! If it's a chair but it is for both ceremony & dinner then we might suck it up! I want an archway for the ceremony. I want twinkle lights at the reception.. favors?

what else am i missing?!

how about you

So I was on the Save on Crafts website and they have chair sashes on there for really cheap! Both organza and satin. Not sure how much the shipping is to your area but it's worth checking it out :)

not doing engagment photos only because it's been over a year of our engagement (oct. 16, 2011) & i don't want to "waste" my photographer's time on something when i get her for 5 days! so I decided to do the TTD & boudoir

TTD & boudoir should be fun!! :) We didn't do engagement photos either. The destination wedding was so last minute we had to just send the invitations asap. Haha.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
