Hello, 

I am thinking about having my wedding in July 2014 at either Now Jade or Barcelo Maya Palace. I am very skeptical because of the weather.. the heat, rain, and risk of hurricanes especially. Can anyone please provide input if you have been there in July! Thanks:)

Your chances of a hurricane then are very low......but you can be sure of lots of heat :)

July is pretty hot, for sure, however also great beach weather and prime summer vacation time - so there's that balance.

Wear cool loose natural fiber clothing, stay hydrated, and embrace the shade to keep cool........it's a great time to be at the beach/pool and play in the water....Enjoy :)

Hello AshTess,

 

For information regarding weather and seasons in our area, check out CLIMATE FAQS.  July is generally a very hot month but why not have a signature refreshing drink served at your ceremony or perhaps offer custom paper sun umbrellas to keep guests shaded!  Should the clouds roll in, our summer tropical showers are generally short lived and offer some amazing photo ops!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
