Hello Ladies,

 

My name is April and my husband and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary in August and have decided to renew our vows in Cabo San Lucas with about 20 of our family and close friends. I initially chose the Riu Palace, but are having second thoughts due to the room rates. For those of you who where married at the Riu Palace, did the resort offer you a group or discounted rate? Any feedback you ladies can provide is appreciated.

I would call the hotel themselves or get email contact info and ask them. Also dont just except one travel agent ask around to a few.

Hi MrsMoye,

I would suggest working with a Travel Agent. They'll not only be able to work a deal with group rates but chartered airfare too. I could kiss our TA for all the fab work she's done. Certain hotels even offer "kick backs" for the bride and groom. Because of where we're staying and how many rooms we've booked qualifies us for free rooms/nights. Hi Mellisa!

 

Thank you! I contacted a TA last week and she has been great thus far. She was able to get us group rates through the hotel. "Free" rooms/nights...that's wonderful! I don't think we will have enough rooms booked to qualify for the free nights. Best wishes to you on your wedding & marriage.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
