How is the food at Dreams? Did you feel it was fun for kids as well? I know it's a little more secluded ( away for the main towns) did you ever feel that there wasn't enough to do? Did you ever go in to town? Did you go through a travel agent or just book through the hotel? Please don't feel you have to answer all my questions wink.gif I know it's a lot! Ha wink.gif Did you send things prior to the wedding or bring it all with you? When did you and your hubby arrive prior to the wedding?

You're awesome thanks again!!

oops, i missed this!!! The food was excellent! The only restaurant I didn't really like for dinner was the buffet but it was great for breakfast! We didn't leave the resort at all and were ok for 10 days! A few of our guests took cabs to Playa Del Carmen for shopping and a few went to Xel Ha with no issues. There was plenty to do for kids! They have a kids club and we will return to Dreams when we have kids because they looked like they were having so much fun. We arrived on Thurday and got married on Monday.

Savannah you did a beautiful job on everything for your wedding! The colors , gifts, everything just came together so well!! Did you have any problems in customs with the welcome bags sealed up liquids? Did they need to open them? How about the maracas? I thought you bought them online? Trying to think of everything!! Lol

Beautiful wedding!!   I may have to copy some of your colors and ideas.  LOVE IT!!!

Do you think it would be ok to not rent the dance floor?  We want to dance but I can't spend that extra money.  What do you suggest?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
