Hey everyone! The wedding has come and gone and to repay everyone who helped me through this site during the wedding planning process, I wanted to make sure to do a planning thread/review even though

The Cake:    We had a layer of Tres Leches and a layer of Vanilla - it was excellent!   Cake topper and Cake knives both from Occasions Unlimited on Etsy http://www.etsy.com/people/Occasions

Trash The Dress:    One of the most fun things ever!! I wore my regular dress and husband just wore his suit pants and white shirt.                  The Photographer:

I absolutely loved how personal you made your wedding! Thank you so much for sharing everything .. Huge help as my Fiancé and I are trying to decide on our resort and Dreams Riviera is def top two!! Any additional info of resort would be awesome ... Also I will probably order some crafty PDF s from you ;) Thanks again for sharing! Andrea

Our ceremony was at 3:30. We could have probably pushed it back to 4:00 but I was too scared to risk it being dark for pics :)

Wow, thanks so much!! The other resort we are looking at is either Beach Palace or Moon Palace. I have been to the palace resorts before and really think their service and food is great! How is the food at Dreams? Did you feel it was fun for kids as well? I know it's a little more secluded ( away for the main towns) did you ever feel that there wasn't enough to do? Did you ever go in to town? Did you go through a travel agent or just book through the hotel? Please don't feel you have to answer all my questions ;) I know it's a lot! Ha ;) Did you send things prior to the wedding or bring it all with you? When did you and your hubby arrive prior to the wedding? You're awesome thanks again!! Andrea

our ceremony was at 3:30, we orgiinally wanted it at 4, but the photographer suggested 3:30 and I'm glad we did that. We got some great sunset pics!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
