Hi there lovely brides! I am getting married July 2015 at the Gran Caribe Real Resort in Cancun. I can definitely say looking for a Photographer/Videographer was one of the most challenging things. You look at so many websites of pictures and video's and of course everything looks so beautiful. Then you are reading review after review and looking at pricing and it makes the choices that much harder.

 

In May my fiancé and I went to Cancun to do a site visit and while there we took the opportunity to meet with Photographers/Videographers. After meeting with about 6 different people we decided on Octavio Montes. We were meeting him just for the Photography but, then he showed us his video's and everything was gorgeous which made the decision easier. One company to do handle all my needs. He listened to what we wanted, was open to our suggestions, worked with us on pricing and is offering a 10% off discount to brides. That definitely helped with our budget. Since we have been back he has been responsive, patient and also accepts Pay Pal.

 

I am grateful for these forums because it's hard planning a wedding that you can't see or experience first hand. Hopefully, this information will help someone else get this task crossed off their "to do" list. @@Brit11 - Congrats to you! Me and a few other April Costa Rica brides will be at the new Dreams Resort near Playa El Jobo. It's also in Guanacaste but further north in a secluded area.
