Don't worry everything will plan out great!!! You will looooooove punta Cana! I went to a wedding there this august I decided on dreams La Romana. (Didn't want to look like a copy cat) lol. We are thinking of working with the resort directly hopefully that doesn't come back to bite us later on :(

 

I only went with a Travel Agent because I was kind of lazy.  I contacted my 1st choice hotel and they told me to do room blocks I'd need a travel agent anyway.  The idea of outsourcing something was VERY appealing!! (We ended up deciding on our 2nd choice anyway.) It seems like there are lots of brides on here who do the room block themselves, or don't have a room block at all.

 

You are too sweet to not be a "copy cat".  I doubt your friend would have minded!!  :))  Isn't immitation the sincerest form of flattery?

Hello Ladies I am getting married 4/25/15 at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites in Jamaica.  I am so excited, I got engaged June 2013 and I knew immediately that I wanted a Destination Wedding.  I have a wonderful TA who helped me with deciding what resort and I can redirect all traveling questions from my guest to her which is Always a plus because who really has time for that when planning a wedding especially a DW.  Are there any brides who are somewhat a little flustered about the whole process?? I know I am overwhelmed a little.  I have paid the deposit for the wedding as well as the accommodations now photographer, videographer etc. O did I mention I am having a reception here LOL!!

Wow congrats!!!!!!!!! You have a lot done!!!!!! I will be booking the resort in January for July 4 2015 I'm so excited the have my spot reserved!!!!! Yay!!!

Hello Ladies,

 

I was previously a 2014 bride but due to medical setbacks I am now a February 2015 bride. I am very excited to restart planning for my wedding. I am getting married in the Riveria Maya area in Mexico at Ocean Coral and Turquesa. Please add me as friend. I would like to share our experiences.

All of you ladies are on the ball, now that the holiday season is over it's all out planning from here.  Getting married 8/23/14 and I've been working on some things, but haven't gotten to the specifics yet!  Congrats on all of your engagements and happy planning!

my wedding will be in la romana dominican republic. im having a little issue now because my fiances brother got married in punta cana this past august and now his family doesn't seem that excited to go back to dr. Im so stressed and sad!!! now im dominican and i have family living over there that i want at my wedding. that the reason im sticking to dr. :(

I am sorry to hear that.  I am having issues with my in-laws wanting to go to Jamaica period, but you know at the end of the day I don't want 30 years later to look at my pictures of a wedding that was not what we wanted.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
