Hello,

Can anyone help me?

Iâ€m getting married in Mexico in April. We're staying at Dreams Rivera Cancun in the Riviera Maya

We're staying in Mexico for 2 weeks and plan to do a lot of excursions J

  • Xcaret
  • Dolphin swim (Only a simple package)
  • Chichen Itza
  • Jungle, Zip Wires, Ropes Course and Quad Bikes (Not Xplore)
  • Coco Bongo Cancun

Does anyone have an idea on prices and who I should book with?

Or has anyone done any of these excursions and how much did you pay?

Do I book when I arrive in Mexico? Or should I book before?

Any help would be great…Thank you! J

Hi Dominique,

Congrats for your upcoming wedding! This activities you can book it thru their web site and pay on line (xcaret). Swim with doplhin we recommended go whit dolphin discovery in Isla Mujeres or Puerto Aventuras, the biggest is in Isla Mujeres (Garrafon) and you can book on line or by phone in their page you can found the prices of packages. Also in Coco Bongo great show by the way and to Chichen we recommended book at the airport. Other wise, for your wedding we would like to know if you are considering photographer? Hello Dominique and welcome!

Many parks offer specials on they website for advanced bookings, particularly Xcaret and Xplor.  However, booking through your resort usually means that the transportation is included so may be worth the little extra.  Chichen Itza is most often sold as a set tour including a visit to Valladolid and a cenote as is usually about $50 USD per person.  I've heard good things about the Dolphinaris and their treatment of dolphins.  And for the Coco Bongo trip, I recommend getting the VIP pass in order to have a table to sit at and table service!  Make sure you do not book any tours for the day after Coco Bongo!!!  :)

Happy Planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
