Hello All!  I am new to the site...sort of.  I actually was on here a few years ago and right before our wedding, everything fell apart. dizzy.gif  It was not a great experience, especially since we had our destination wedding booked at Secrets Maroma, wedding dress made, etc.  But we live, learn, and sometimes realize everything is for the best.  So I am back, a better me, a better man, and looking forward to the future.  Nothing is set yet but he keeps hinting at the engagement and wanting to go to Jamaica, so I'm back just looking around at this point.  I don't want to be stressed later!! cheesy.gif I'm sure we'll be planning for 2014.

Welcome!! If you're looking at 2014 you have some time to make decisions and research. use the boards to let other ppl's decisions guide you in vendors they liked etc. Do you know if you are doing a hotel, villa or offsite wedding yet? Or any thoughts on what you'd prefer? Lots of decisions! All the best with planning :-)

Well, I think we will probably lean more towards a hotel.  I'm liking Secrets Wild Orchid or Iberostar Grand....but I have time to look at each and every hotel in Jamaica to overwhelm myself with options! lol  Just kidding...but like you said, a lot of decisions. Thank you!

Hi JovienCo!!! Congrats, Im getting married in 2014 now too in Montego Bay Jamaica. A villa reception but a hotel ceremony. Isnt it exciting!! Wishing you and your partner all the best....ROLL ON 2014!!!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
