2013 Grand Palladium Punta Cana BRIDES!

Recommended Posts

Hi Melissa, congrats on your wedding! I'll be getting married there on Jan 27 (If Carolina would ever let us book the wedding....) and we wanted to do a symbolic ceremony, we didn't realize that we had the option of doing a renewal of vows vs a wedding ceremony, the price difference is out of this world!!

With the Silver package, were you able to pick from any of the colours? And were you able to get those colours for decorations for your reception? Do they do the ceremony any different than a wedding ceremony? I also don't want people to be able to tell that we're already married. Can you give me a bit of information, what extras did you include? How many guests? What was the overall cost of the ceremony?

Thanks for your help!

Congatulations!! :) I don't know if I can help too much, we actually had a civil ceremony and did the crystal wedding package. But with the silver wedding package you do get to pick your colors for the ceremony. Once you are actually down there you will have a meeting with Carolina and she has a book that you will go through to pick flowers, chair sashes, and all your extras including colors and you can pretty much choose anything you want. You will choose your cake style (round or square) you can add flowers to the cake as well. They do also offer centerpieces for your dinner reception, they are pricey though. I ended up bringing my own down with us and I just had her set everything up. we had 27 people with us and our wedding package was $1525 we added on the beach party for three hours which was $300 and $15pp for open bar along with some upgrades on flowers, cake flowers and extra boutonnières for the guys and I think our total cost for the wedding was $3000 or just under. Sorry I couldn't help a whole lot, but good luck with everything! and congrats again! :)

yes do let me know please! I only have the silver package for 20 ppl max and then the other packages by karen bussen (waves of love, ocean pearl etc..) they are for 8ppl max.  $20 per person above the max.  I havent heard of this 50 ppl max but even if it was true, i know we are not gonna get that many ppl anyway.....We are staying at the resort for 1 week and my fiance and I wanted to hop over to Turks n Caicos for an extra 5 days but it's looking like it's too expensive (go figure)....So we may just stay an extra 5 days but at a different resort "adults only" preferably. :) Who are you using as your travel agent?

Hi Melissa Epple.... congrats on you recent wedding! When you say the beach party cost you $300, what does that include? A dj and dance floor? Thanks!

Thank you! :) The $300 was for the DJ for 3 hours, which they do have their own music but you can also bring your iPods or CDs and they will play your music for you. Since it was windy the night of our wedding our party was moved inside to the convention centre, so Im not 100% sure if they put a dance floor out on the beach or if it would just be the sand. I do know that they set up tables and chairs for you though as well. Since the beach ( or convention centre ) is so far away from any of the bars you pretty much also have to include the 15$ per person for drinks as well on top of it.

·        Dj services, you have two options, is not the same,

ü  Sound system and someone form our staff taking care about the equipment: US$ 300 (available during 3 hours)

ü  MC, Professional DJ, DJ Booth, Sound System, Wireless Microphone, Robotic Lights, and White Balloons. US$ 550, (available during 3 hours and pay cash only).

ü  White Wood dance floor, 12†x 16â€: US$470.

The private dinner on the beach and ceremony on the beach, will depend from the weather conditions, if we were to change the party and/or the ceremony to an indoor place, the decision should be taken minimum between 4 and 5 hours before the event, once we change the location to an indoor place, is not possible to moved again to the outdoor place.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
