I'm getting married at Riu on November 13, 2013! Pretty exciting, finally under the year mark. IrishGirlMD, I was just wondering how you booked the disco. Did you get into contact with Keisha? I've been waiting for her to get back to me but no luck yet.

Hope everyone's planning is going well.

Mayems,

Yes, I sent Keisha an email and asked her to reserve it for me and to email me a confirmation.  She sent it back to me within 3 days saying the disco is mine.

Sorry it took so long to reply!!

Hey all,

I had a couple of questions that maybe you guys could help me out with.

1. in the semi private dinner included in the packages, there is no drinks included right?

2. how many hours are you allowed to stay at the dinner for?

3. it is 10.50 for added person per package and that covers the food, wine, and cake? or would I have to buy the bigger cake for $300 & pay for the extra for the wine and food?

Thanks so much for all your help!!!

Hi all! Super excited to get married at ROR in september this year! Stressing a little on packing everything needed to make the day the best it can be! Any ideas on centerpieces? I'm doing a beach wedding, fallowed by the semi private dinner, fallowed by a pool side reception. I want to spice up the dinner tables and the reception tables without packing being crazy! And what about bringing glass? Uh totally having a stressed out bride moment! Really any tips r very helpful! Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
