Hey Buggle! (and sweet Costa Rica brides!)

My husband & I are Canadians currently living in the Caribbean and spend a lot of time in Costa Rica (planning to move there from Punta Cana, DR in 2014, yay!)

We are a rocking wedding photography team, crazy about each other and what we do... check out our website and blog for our portfolio and inspiration! We would LOVE to hear about your wedding in Costa Rica...

We are planning to fly back & forth this year and will be spending all of March & April 2014 in the Guanacaste area (documenting love & looking for a house :)))

Much love,

PURA VIDA,

K+R.

Hi,

I'm a professional photographer living in Central America since 2000. In 2004 I established myself in Playa Tamarindo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica where I created Bidrop.com a company dedicated to offer professional and modern high quality photography.

Next to my other photographic projects I quickly started photographing destination weddings and loved it... I have to say that we have superb settings, great hotels, beautiful landscape and for sure amazing sunset... Also the special relation that I quickly create with my client on their important date is really satisfying as creating images they will treasure for life.

For sure I shoot a lot in the pacific gold coast, but I now travel all over Costa Rica: La Fortuna (Arenal), Monteverde, Manuel Antonio, Puerto Viejo (Caribbean coast), Osa... I also Travel to Panama, Mexico or New York.

How will I capture your Costa Rica destination wedding?

I approach wedding photography with the spirit of photojournalism, capturing the natural, true moment and reflect the excitement, laughs, tears... All the emotions of your day, will be fixed gracefully on your wedding photos so that future generations can see how it really happens.

While wedding photojournalism and candid shots are my hallmark I am aware that you may also want various traditional posed photos such as bride alone, groom alone, bride and groom, families groups...

I would love, if you are ready to go a little further and push to the fashion Style, as in a Trash the Dress session or something similar... If you have ideas, send them to me...

Don't worry : it's your day and we'll work with you to achieve the photography style and poses that fully correspond to you. Your Costa Rica wedding photos will be an impressive, creative visual narrative of your wedding day.

Toh Gouttenoire, Wedding Photographer.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
