OFFICIAL Azul Sensatori Thread

Thank you so much Murmel! That is so helpful!!

This resort definitely meets a lot of our guests needs, much more than the tons of other resorts we've been looking at. And while there are some negatives (as there always are) the positives definitely outweigh them.

I'm excited to say that we've put out deposit down and are waiting to hear from the wedding coordinator if we got the date we want. YAY!

is anyone else having a problem with the wedding coordinators in Miami? This is the second coordinator I requested that does not reply to email in timely manner. I had the same issue with the first one who did not reply to email in timely manner and was not able to leave voice messages.

My wedding is in 6 months, and I do not have a dinner reception location or time confirmed yet because she does not return emails. I cant even plan anything because she doesn't return email answering the questions I sent her.  I sent her email 2 days ago and still no reply. Its a bit frustrating because I can't even send out my invitations to my guest yet because she has not confirmed anything for me. I read the reviews and it says they are great to work with but so far has not been very helpful/pleasant.

Anyone else have these similar situations?

I feel your pain. I am done with the planning process and a weight has been lifted off my shoulders because it is frustrating. Now I can relax while I await my wedding in two weeks.

By now your locations and times should be confirmed or you will be forced to get whatever is left.

I found that calling the main number and then requesting my WC worked faster. I would then follow up our call with a confirmation email.

My WC left w/o my knowledge 3 months before the wedding. My new WC is Lucy Menna and I found her timely with her response. She is new to the company but she made sure she got me the information I needed. Perhaps you can request her.

@mention:

I have Ashley Fermin right now. If I make a request that would be third time and I don't know if they would let me. I don't want to sound like a bridezilla but all i'm asking for is reply to my email :( I don't think they would let me request anyone specifically either. when I asked to switch from my first coordinator (Isabella Perez) that took them 2-3 weeks to assign me Ashley so I'm kind of scared to ask again.

how quickly did she reply to you. I sent my email (actually multiple emails) to her Tuesday and still have not heard anything back (today is Thursday).

btw, congrats on your wedding in 2 weeks!!!

I don't think anyone has had a good experience with the Miami coordinators. It has been frustrating for everyone and the company knows it, but doesn't seem to change it. ( It is the on site wedding coordinators that everyone raves about)

Anyway, a few suggestions:

1) most of the Miami coordinators take about a week to respond to emails (from my experience and other brides I talk to)

2) to get a faster response, try to web session them or call! And once you make a personally connection, they seem to respond faster....since takes a while though. Lol

@@murmel... I know it's here somewhere but now I can't find it!!! Do you have the dimensions of the new white gazebo on the sky deck? I'm sure they were here... Did they get removed? For what it's worth- I didn't measure it when there for the BDR cause I knew it was somewhere in the forum, but I did measure the aisle length up there in case anyone needs it for timing of music etc... It's 104ft from the entrance to the middle of the gazebo. (Or 94 ft if you only want to walk to the front of the gazebo).

Unfortunately, I don't have the new dimensions of the white Sky gazebo. It is very similar in size to the old one, although possibly a bit shorter. Thanks for the aisle length, I will add that to the list!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
