Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies! I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Shasta Law and I am an August 3,2013 bride at AS. I am a little late to the party on this thread.... This would have been so helpful months ago but I am sure I will still find many good tips :) Thanks for all your info and hope you all have the wedding of your dreams! Shasta

Hello there,

I'm in the process of constructing my wedding website for guests and was wondering if any one had any good descriptions or photos that I could put up to show how wonderful the resort will be. I want to make sure I do a good job of showing my guests the value they are getting for their money!

Any other suggested info you all found helpful to include on your websites that I can send people there instead of repeating it over and over would be great!

Thanks!

Elizabeth

I found a lot of nice pictures just by doing a Bing search for Azul Sensatori and looking under Images. I also had the good fortune to see Azul Sensatori in May in person when we went for a site visit. Some of the pictures I took look almost like the professional shots since the resort really does look like the photos! It is one of the most beautiful resorts I've seen.

Does anyone know what size table overlay I would need for the reception tables?
Look under post #10...the round tables are 5ft in diameter. Seat about 8-10 people. Not sure of the dimensions for the sweetheart table.

Hi Murmel, Can you take a picture of the front of the Mexico custom's form? This will be very helpful for guest who have never traveled to Mexico before and who do very little/no international travel. I know some of my relatives will be very overwhelmed when they get to Cancun airport. Anything I can do to prepare them will be appreciated. Thanks, Jenny

The photos I have posted is all I have...sorry. It was the sheet attached to the customs form I had to submit when we entered Mexico.

Hi CandyMandy! My wedding is this August 25th at Sensatori I was told that we could only pick one entree option for the reception dinner :( Which dinner package did you choose? I'm curious, maybe I misunderstood... it would be great to give people an option.

Thanks!

Thanks!

It really depends on which option you have choosen. Many of the private event meals offer a variety of choices: buffet, bbq, pick and choose menu (you have to choose the starters and dessert, then offer your guests the choice of one of two of the mains or a vegetarian option). Whatever you do choose, the wedding coordinators need to know a minimum of 4 weeks before your wedding date. So this means if you were to choose the "Pick and choose menu" you would need to know from your guests ahead of time which choice they would want for the main (ie. chicken or steak...)

Hope that helps!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
