Good job girls keep it up. If you don't have small cheats once in a while you'll go balls to the wall in a massive binge. Or is that just me lol! Today I'm trying to be EXTRA good so I can splurge tonight, the hubs & I got a hotel for the fun of it in downtown Seattle (we only live a 15 min drive from the city) and there is an Elephant & Castle in our hotel, so yum!!! Have a good & food-successful weekend ladies (& men who aren't officially on BDW lol) see you in a couple days!

Lol @ "balls to the wall". That is a good point though....it's good to have a cheat day.

I was doing this diet one time called the 4 Hour body. Anyone ever hear of it? It's basically, no carbs, no sugar, no dairy, and one glass of red wine a day. And you get one day off per week where you can eat whatever you want. It was something about how your body needs the one day of binge eating to trigger the healthy activity during the other days of the week. I don't know...it made sense at the time. Lol. I wasn't on it for long!

I'm not good at diets, but I am good at cleanses... especially all juicing cleanses. I'm juicing for 10 days right now...all liquids. Then when I go back to solids I gradually incorporate different foods back into my diet. I try to make them all healthy, but I allow myself to have junk food in moderation.

So I expect a big drop in weight up front, then it should level off and my weight loss will be less drastic after that. Somehow it works for me.

When I do my low carbs thing, I use this website called netrition.com. They sell low carb groceries and they get delivered to your house. They have low carb spaghetti, tortillas, candy, and anything else you can imagine. Love them.

Although they say low carb diets are only good for quick, temporary weight loss, and are not sustainable. I tend to agree. But the sites helps you make incorporating low carb meals into your diet a lifestyle.

So excited that there was FINALLY some movement on the scale in the downward direction! It's such a wonderful feeling. It wasn't a lot, but it was enough to let me know that the little changes I've made are helping so once I go harder with the exercise, things will really speed up!  Have a great Monday ladies (and gentlemen)! woot.gifsmile72.gif

Hey!

Happy Monday!!!!

I was so happy to see a downward movement on the scale as well. I plan to make it continue that way, as I often psyche myself out, and then watch it creep right back up. Not this time! It's going to continue going down! Way to go us!

:D

Hey ladies!!!!! Congrats on moving in the right direction!!!!! I've been somewhat MIA this past week as I was ashamed of my lack of willpower. I started the week alright, ate well worked out on Monday, but that's where it ended. I finished the week with a Costco sample binge as well as their ice cream because its my favourite. Then the next day pizza and then Chinese food the day after that, all with 0 exercise! When I wasn't eating the junk food I was trying to level it out by eating super healthy and it must of worked as I somehow managed to drop 1lb. Lol. Or maybe that's just fluctuation.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
