I sent mine on Wednesday.  I sent last weeks late (on Saturday), but this weeks on time.  I'll resend now.  It was my lowest weight in a loooong time, so I want that shit recorded!  Even if it's just for future reference when we do a BL again.

No worries regarding the weekly results, I don't really care if it's recorded there, but your spreadsheet has the most information on my fluctuations for the last few years and last week was my lowest in awhile, so as long as that's updated, that's perfect.

I tried starting my detox last week...FAIL. Trying again next week to I can go out with a bang!

Oh Easter week was certainly rough for me!

 

I completely and totally forgot to send my weigh in for this week- don't even know how it is Wednesday already! Sorry ladies!

 

I do make a fairly big decision this morning.

 

The gym I go to is coming up for renewal this month. While I absolutely love the boxing classes, I am finding I am making maybe twice a month. Then I have major guilt over not going. And it is because the class isn't until 6, and I get off work at 4:30. My intention was to get to the gym, do cardio for an hour and then do the class. I did that twice maybe.

 

We weren't eating dinner until 7:30, 8:00, and then going to bed. So all I was doing was being a fat ass, and gaining weight, being completely counter productive with chowing down so late at night.

 

Long story short- I am deciding not to bother renewing my membership at the gym. I learned enough boxing moves to be able to shadow box on my own, plus my gloves give you a work out routine to use without a bag, which is awesome.

 

My plan is to change into work out gear at work, go home, do the squat challenge, and then go for a brisk walk/ jog for 30-40 minutes. On the days were there is a break for squats, I will do the shadow boxing instead.

 

With FI's new job being downtown Toronto and me looking for a new job down in that area, it is completely pointless for me to renew a membership out here in Mississauga, when our intention is to move downtown in a few months. On top of it just being a waste of money for me, when I can do stuff for free, especially since it is warming up now.

 

I lost 20 pounds 5 years ago over the course of 3 months, just by simply walking for 30 minutes every day. Changed up my eating habits a bit, but not drastically. I ate ice cream at least once a week and went out for dinner twice a week, so similar to what we are currently doing. (HA, not the ice cream, but we don't cook on the weekends).

 

What do you guys think? Am I crazy? Am I just fooling myself?

I'm with you, last week (this weeks weigh in) is NOT pretty.  I'm up 3.5 lbs since last week which was my lowest in awhile.  BOOOOOO!  I'm not really sure what went wrong, like there isn't ONE thing that I did differently.  I drank wine a few nights, but not extremely.  Like 1 glass maybe two nights and then on Easter I had a few glasses.  I even only had apple crisp for dessert on Easter and nothing else and I've been eating healthy while at work.  I don't know how weight gain works, but I'm wondering if this jump is from when I went a little crazy when I had my period two weeks ago.

 

Either way, Matt and I discussed it and he's been stagnant for a few weeks and up until this week I had been losing each week, so we're going to try to get back more to the cleanse diet.  We've veered off slightly, like our morning drinks are usually fruit instead of veggies and we're eating less salads and more rice. 

 

I wanted to lose 5 lbs before our pics on Sunday and instead I'm up 3.5, so I'm annoyed at myself.  Then Xavi's birthday party is a month away and I want to feel good about myself!  I need to find the time to do the 30 day shred again.

Oh I got all wrapped up in my reply that I forgot to reply to you Jenny.  I don't think you are fooling yourself IF you've done something like that before and know that you can do it.  Working out at home is great, if you actually do it.  I've done it before, but not recently.  It's my new goal as well. Where I suck is leaving the house to work out.  Like I say everyday I'm going to start walking, but there is no time, or it's too cold, or soon it will be too hot.  I'm a home body and quite possibly would be a hermit if I was allowed.
