We have our final photoshoot with a photog that we bought a year package from (for Xavier) and I really want to lose at least five more lbs before then.  That's April 7, so I really have to push myself for the next two weeks.  I think I can do it.

Then Xav's bday party is in May and I'd really like to just look like me instead of a heavy me.  The baby weight is gone now, but I want to feel good and not sloppy and like a "mom".  You know what I mean, right?  Like I don't want people to KNOW I'm a mom by looking at me.  Gotta whip myself into shape.

I LOVE hot yoga.. but its soooooo expensive here i just cant afford it. Wish i could cause when i was a bit younger and could afford it and went some what regularly i was probably in my best shape ever. Love your sons name.. I think thats what my fiance wants to name a boy when we have kids, if we have a boy lol.

I may start a new detox next week. Haven't decided which one....probably juicing. That always helps me drop the most pounds the quickest. I always put like 2 or 3 back on in the week following, I'm guessing that's water weight. But I usually net about a 5 pound weight loss after detoxing for 7 days. Can't complain.

they say losing weight is 80% diet and 20% exercise. I have lost weight just by changing eating habits but of course getting in the gym as well works better. But if you cant do both its always better to at least do one right? lol

Oh my today i am onto day 3 of the squat challenge. I have yet to attempt it as my legs are soooooo sore. Today is 60 squats. I just have to push through knowing tomorrow is a rest day. Also went to the gym again yesterday (yay 2 days in a row) only squeezed in 35 mins cardio as my gym closes at 10 and i get off work at 9. Today will be the same. But tomorrow im off at 6 so ill be able to do more.

I did a few of those challenges awhile back and they are killer, but they do work.  The most improvement I had was the pushup challenge.  I could barely do 3 when I started and by the end I was doing 20+.  I should start back up again.

Hot yoga is expensive here too and usually a far drive, but I had a groupon 5 class for $35!  Can't beat that and worth the 40 mins drive.

And obviously I think you should use Xavier as a name b/c my little boy is awesome.  And I love Xav or Xavi as a nickname.

Yay! Go me :D

Too bad my week 7 weigh in was no different..... AND, i sprained my ankle yesterday, so it looks like this week is a write off. UGH. So annoyed.

But yay me, for one week!

Come on ladies! Let's push through these last few weeks! We can do it!

Way to go, Jenny!  And everyone else who had a loss, great job!

I've been done the cleanse for a few weeks now, but we are still eating the same (mostly veggies/fruits, brown rice and chicken or fish) and I'm still losing, so yay!  I guess since it's less a "cleanse" and more a lifestyle change, that's to be expected.  Matt hasn't continued to lose though, so I bet he'll drop like 8 lbs in one weigh in, like men can do.  I still have a way to go (10-15), but I'm feeling good about where I am and how I'm getting there.  It's slow, but it's real.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
