A loss is a loss, no matter how minimal it is!

I am down 1.5 lbs this week, which was up 1 lb from week one, so I'm only down .5 lbs in total, but I'll take it!

I just dropped off payment yesterday for a cleanse.  The hubs and I were talking about doing one for awhile now and we are most likely going to start on Saturday.  It's the Standard Process Purification Cleanse, for anyone interested.  I've never done it before, but I've heard good things. It's more about cleansing your body to make your organs work better to enhance sleep, skin issues, stress, mental clarity, low libido, weight loss, etc.  But I don't expect to lose more then say 5 lbs and even that is pushing it.  I did a cleanse before and didn't lose very much.

Last week I would say I actually did really well, I worked out 4 days at home (better than week one with only 1 day of exercise) and did really well with my eating, with the exception of having 2 cookies last night. And today on the scale...? Absolutely ZERO change, sure ya it's good I didn't gain but after trying so hard and saying no to so many delicious things all week at least 1/2 a pound would have been nice.

Don't get too down on yourself. No change is still good, better than going up. Could be you did lose some actual weight but put on some water weight, so it evened out???? I don't know, just don't get down on yourself! That is what will make you go eat a whole bag of cookies and say screw it! cheer2.gif Keep going!

I didn't hit my goal this week!!! Boo

Hopefully, I will lose 2 lbs this week!!

Weight lost is weight lost! Better than a gain! And last week seriously sucked... V-Day threw me for a whirlwind of horrible eating. I didn't make my goal either- but there was still a bit of a loss, so yay! cheer2.gif

Also I had a change in my schedule at work so I have to start weighing in on Tuesdays. So tomorrow we'll see how bad being bad was last week sad.gif

I swear, not only are we body twins, we are habit (and AF) twins too!

I ate everything in sight, didn't exercise once (unless you count going up and down stairs at work exercise) and now, no wonder, AF has arrived to party.

Surprisingly, I still lost 3 pounds, but I swear, it was an absolute fluke, and now this week I will probably gain due to excessive eating from last week and entire water gain from AF this week.

Can I just say..... while I am grateful that we get AF, so that way we can create and carry children, I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT! And I hate that despite me knowing why I am so moody, so hungry and not feeling right, I never seem to clue in until the day before. It happens every month, but noooo.... I always seem to be blindsided by it. You would think being on BC would mean my hormones are in check. Nope. I would hate to see how bad I really am, emotionally when I am off BC. It has been 10 years since I have been without it, so I am fairly certain this will be me off of BC:  girl_werewolf.gif

woot.gifway to go!!!!!!!

I have done a few cleanses before and they were always short lived. A few pounds and then I put it all back on within weeks after the cleanse. However, I never changed my eating habits, so that was probably the issue, not the cleanse! Good for you! I am thinking of maybe doing a cleanse too, just to boost myself further along and get all the toxins cleared out.

I agree! Keep up the good work ladies! It's tough to keep going, especially after V-day (and for some of us here in Canada after a three- day weekend- not sure if you guys in the US had President's Day off of work?). We will make this week count! smile159.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
