I've got it worse than all of you (ok Ann too) as a soccer fan, MLS is a 9 month season now!!! Games (which we all know really means beer & snacks!) 1-2 times a week!

Oh seeing as we will get to know each other let me introduce myself. My name is Cherina I get to marry my best friend (again) on 2.14.14 at Moon Dance Villa in Negril JA for our 14th anniversary this is our first wedding, we went to city hall and got a marriage the first time around. We have 4 children ages 10-1 3 girls and a boy and I am a SAHM homeschooling my two oldest, my boy mikey is 7 and has autism so I never ever sleep. The baby caused me to gain 80 pounds after 3 months of bed-rest and I want my body back:-)

All right, I'm in.  I was waivering back and forth b/c ... actually I don't know why.  But I have a 9 month old son and it's no longer "baby weight" that I have retained, it's just me.  So time to step up and slim down. 

 

I recently bought a DVD set of workouts (Moms Into Fitness) that I plan on doing.  I haven't started yet so can't claim to know how good it is, but it was a groupon type deal that I just couldn't pass up since I need to get in shape. 

 

Xavier loves the tub, so I'm pretty sure that he'll be wanting to swim this summer and my parents have a pool so that means I need to be ok in a swimsuit.  My husband just quit smoking and is also at his heaviest so step #1 was that we cut out chips.  We both have a weakness for salty crunch, so I think that will be a big leap in health.

Yes im new to this!! Im jen, im marrying the most amazing man ive ever met on 11/12/13 at beaches in turks & caicos!!! Cant wait!!! I have had my dress a while so it fit when I ordered it but now it doesnt!! Ah! I have time I know but I want to get started! I want to really tone but I cant seem to find the energy to go to the gym! This will modivate me!! We can modivate each other..plus om going on a cruise at end of may so this bigest loser will end just in time so I can look great for the cruise and begin again for the wedding when i get home so i can feel amazingggg!! :)

Hi you guys!!  I am really new to this and still trying to navigate through the site.  I am really interested in joining and realize i need to make a decision soon!!

I put a deposit down on my dress but have 60 days to before the rest is due and i was hoping to order the next smaller size but i need to get my butt off the couch when i get home from work and get moving.  I dont want to be a big bride.  I am so worried that i will hate all the wedding pics if i dont lose some weight.

in july i'll have been married 5 years!!! i discovered bdw in 2007 and have been a moderator since 2008. we have 2 kids, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and own a house in seattle. i lead a fairly sendentary lifestyle working for an airline, and my weight gain is all due to loving food (specifically delicious dinners, snack cakes, and sweets) too much and not being active enough to compensate. not a good excuse. we are on the run a lot and eat out way too much, its hard to say NO to the yummy items on fast food menus. today is day 2 at the gym and im actually excited!

Hi girls...I just found this thread and I think it's destiny that the start date hasn't happened yet because I would love to join y'all if you'll have me? Can I please send a snail mail check to you? The FI and I started trying to lose weight but I'm not going to lie I'm furious at myself for not getting to the gym and really committing! Now that I'm 4 1/2 months out I'm starting to freak out! My wedding dress just came in and I'm kind of dreading picking it up because I'm the fattest I've ever been (the FI couldn't have asked me to marry him AFTER I had lost 30 pounds????!!! Now that I've gained it all back and some he chooses too! Typical! lolol) and I need to be held accountable since he can go to the gym and lose 10 pounds in one day! Soooooo not fair!! lolol! Let me know what I need to do and if you will have me? Thanks...Stina

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
