Hi,

I am Chai, planning to get marry this January 30, 2013.

I've been with my fiance for two years, we've been through UPS and DOWNS

(most of the time DOWNS)

Anyways, he been always asking me to marry him.

Not in a traditional way but Civil wedding.

I didn't agree to that, in the first place I am still not sure if I want to get married.

He is now 27 and i am still 22 years old.

He maybe sure of what he is saying, or should i say he just get into the flow.

I am 3 months pregnant, and my parents ask him for his plan.

He says to marry me, but then it went to be too SOON.

I maybe excited but most of the time CONFUSED..

Will this marriage life be a success? or just another mistake.

I get the point of my parents, but in my own opinion,

marriage should be PLANNED very well and there should NO SECOND THOUGHTS.

Can someone advice me what to do?

I am still not ready to marry, but I will be such a disgrace to my family if i end up

pregnant and doesn't have a husband.

your opinion will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Manilyn

Hello, :)

It sounds like your in a very tough spot! I think if you feel deep down the marriage isn't what you want then don't do it. The only reason why you should get married is because you want to not because your parents want to or your fiancee. It may be a tough decision but if you follow your heart you will be happy in the end:)

 Good Luck!

hi Mandie :)

Its not just my parents want me so, it's also because I am pregnant. They want to have my dignity back.. I am a Filipino and it's part of our culture that we MUST have a husband as we have a child. Well not all of us but then my 'family tree' do practice such norms. I can't barely understand my feelings, sometimes i get excited but most of the times confused.

Thanks

Lyn

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
