    Hello,

I am currently trying to plan my wedding in mexico but am looking for a small resort.  Ideally something 50 rooms or less that does weddings.  Has anyone heard of one or been married at one they can recommend?

      Hi Mirandasjb,

We love the smaller boutique hotels along the Riviera Maya and on Cozumel. There are several we would recommend and we do so on our blog. You can read about

Hello miranda! First of all, congratulations!

If you are looking for a small resort you could try with Le Reve. Here are photos from our latest work at this resort:

I have to agree with Wedding Cancun and mandjphoto.  Le Reve is a beautiful boutique hotel with 25 rooms.  I was lucky enough to visit Le Reve in December and thoroughly enjoyed my time there!  Here is a picture I took while enjoying lunch by the pool:

If you are looking for an intimate setting, this is the place to go.  The wedding coordinator, Arlenis, told me how a lot of their brides/grooms book the entire hotel which makes the wedding week/weekend even more special as all of your loved ones are in one location.  Le Reve is a BDW sponsor and you can find out more about their hotel and view images from past weddings HERE.

Good luck with your wedding planning process and let us know what you decide!! :)

              Hey Ladies!

Smaller towns like Isla Mujeres and Tulum have many smaller boutique hotels that are perfect for an intimate romantic wedding!  There are also options to suit all budgets in each location!  Check out the following weddings to get an idea of the potential of smaller hotels:
