any 2014 grand palladium jamaica brides about yet?

It's always nice to hear a good review. A friend of a friend visited over Christmas and they were very impressed aswell, they said it was amazing and the food was very good. Yes it is going to get pretty pricey, we have 20 people coming for sure, and might get closer to 30. It will all be worth it though I'm sure! We're flying with Air Transat too! We'll likely be on the same flight as your guests! :) Neat! My soon to be father-in-law, a groomsmen and his wife (also great friend) will be flying for sure...maybe a few more. It will be nice when the flight schedules are out. I am really hoping for an early morning flight...so much nicer to get their early in the day! We got engaged last year at the Gran Bahia Principe...we were there for a wedding...it was really nice too!

It's too bad that your TA wasn't helpful, mine has been great. We've been having trouble getting a response from the resort, so she spent some time looking into sales managers, and managed to get an email response from Miami head office and then Erika within 2 days! Erika hasn't been in touch with me yet, but at least I feel better knowing I'm on her radar :)

We're flying with Air Canada, Vancouver - Toronto - Montego Bay (for some of us, maybe 20 people?) And then we have others (again maybe 20 people) flying from either Heathrow or Edinburgh to Jamaica. mrs p 2 be, I notice you're from England, who have you booked with? We had looked at Thomas Cook previously...

ive booked with thompson as they are the only travel agents who go to gplh or they where when I booked. I had quite a long chat/moan/cry at the manager of the store we have booked through ad things seem to be looking up!! they have finally done everything they were supposed to now so we are literally waiting top pay off and be in the hands of gp.

If u need any help or advice from the  'uk' side give me a shout ive found it a bit difficult as many brides here are usa or canada xxx

Has anyone started looking into Photographers, or hair and make up yet? I know it's early, but it's so hard to tell when is the right time to book these things! all I read about is how in demand the good ones are, but I guess that's a good sign!!! :) I want to get some prices from Rashel Edwards, and have been looking at Zuluspro Photography.. have heard great things about both of them!

Any ideas from you guys kicking about yet?

Still haven't heard from the coordinator! It's been 7 weeks since I sent her all my information to book our wedding date, and still no reply back. Both my travel agent and myself have emailed her several times, and still nothing! Should I be worried?

I feel the same!!! It's been about 4 weeks, and the only response back was to my TA, with a "Thanks for recommending" email. No info attached, and no response since. I've booked the hotel and flights already, but no actual wedding stuff... good thing is that we're so far away, and if others are having this kind of trouble, hopefully no ones been able to book it before me! Ha!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
