I had originally asked Erika for our date and she said she put it on hold for us tentatively until we sent her a deposit, which I did 3 weeks ago, and I still haven't heard from her or had a charge put through to my credit card. I can't even get an acknowledgment of a request! I've emailed twice in over 3 weeks, and have had zero response back. Going to try and see if my TA can have any luck. Who would have thought that trying to give a resort money would be so difficult :)

Yes, I had asked my TA as well to try to contact her.  You'd think they would take our money in a heartbeat lol

We're travelling from April 5-12th too!! Our wedding is the 7th! :) Mind if I ask where you're from? [/quotee] We are from New Brunswick, Canada! Has your wedding been confirmed yet? Ours was tentatively booked by Erika, we sent her the paperwork with a credit card number, but it's taking some time to hear back from her!

We're from Ontario, flying out of Toronto. We had our date booked by Erika tentatively as well, we sent her all our info and it's been 3 weeks since we've heard anything. I asked my travel agent to try to contact her, and she says hopefully this week we'll hear something. Fingers crossed!

You should soon! My travel agent visited the Lady Hamilton last week for us and spent 3 hours with Erika. He was very impressed with this resort. After staying at 5 resorts in Jamaica, he said this was hands down the best resort so far! He said we will be very pleased and it was a great choice!! Yay! Now to find out how many people will actually book, so we can begin the reception planning! If it's over 30, that means a private reception at $45 pp, above the $20 pp beyond the 8 for the ceremony....ouch!

Wow! I can't figure out how to use this! Lol. I have guests flying from Toronto to Montego Bay...at least 3 that are for sure! Air Transat. Who are you flying with?

It's always nice to hear a good review. A friend of a friend visited over Christmas and they were very impressed aswell, they said it was amazing and the food was very good.

Yes it is going to get pretty pricey, we have 20 people coming for sure, and might get closer to 30. It will all be worth it though I'm sure!

We're flying with Air Transat too! We'll likely be on the same flight as your guests! :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
