I am planning a wedding at Moon Palace June 2014.  I was just wondering if any brides that choose one of the wedding collections (specifically Exotic Peacock or Sultry Sunset) have any photos I could see of how the set up looked in person?  Thanks! Sarah Rettig
Congrats! I am getting married June 2014 as well! What is your date? I am not doing either of those packages, just because I wanted to pick and choose different options. BUT I have seen pictures of the peacock and sultry sunset and it looks gorgeous! Which one are you leaning more towards? The photos I saw was posted previously on a forum, I just don't remember where or which one now..I'm so sorry :(

Hey Ladies we're getting married at Moon Palace March 7th 2014. I wanted to know if anyone knows of a local florist that I could order flowers from for our wedding.... we don't want to spend $80 plus dollars on boquets for each bridesmaid. I want to just order flowers and make them.

The packages do not include your reception, only the ceremony, there is a $300 per table additionally if you want the package theme for your reception, with that said, I went with the complementary because I didn't feel like expending a fortune for the ceremony which takes about 15 minutes! Then I changed my mind to a religious ceremony and just paid the priest fee, I decided not to do a package for that either. I am sure that with the money you would pay for a package for the ceremony you could get much more for your buck.

I was planning on going with the pure package but after adding everything up I decided I was going to be paying so much money and the ceremony would look gorgeous but we will only be there 15-30 min. Its really the reception that I want to pop! So I've decided the complimentary ceremony is what I'm going to go with, since its still so beautiful, and then Ill get some of the collection tables to jazz up the reception! I find that way easier than choosing table, chairs, linens, chargers, center pieces ect. I just want to keep it as easy and as not confusing as possible!

I am leaning towards the Caribbean Terrace for the reception but because i cant find too many pictures of it I am a little unsure of how or what to choose to decorate it!

Kimberly- I was directed towards Marvin at http://www.mayafloral.com/ for flowers. His prices don't seem that bad to me...

he quoted around $135.00 usd to $155.00 usd for bridal bouquet of local flowers and $50.00 to $70.00 usd for bridesmaid bouquets of local flowers. Compared to what we would pay where I am  from these prices seemed awesome to me!

They are BY FAR the most expensive I have found in Mexico... start at $6000 for a 5 hour wedding package and another $ 3000 for TTD

Their photos are GREAT but after I read about their prices I gave up on that wish. My photos would be taking half the budget

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
