We are getting married at Moon palace 3/28/15. Just received photographer pricing and I am floored. Does anyone have an opinion on Dream Art Photography? What package did you book. I am so overwhelmed with the DJ and photographer I am honestly in shock. Considering bringing my own photographer from home. Any input would be GREATLY appreciated.

Now I kind of wish I would have tried on a mermaid! But I am so in love with my dress I can't even imagine any other gown! I can't wait to get my dress back from my seamstress!! She is working her magic.. what spanx cannot do.... my seamstress can!!! hahahaa

I've told my fiance that my best accessory is my spanx. I think he almost died laughing. Have to find humor in all of this!!! :)

Signed my final PO and have been assigned Josphine as my on-site coordinator. Everything has gone so smoothly this week and everyone I have been in contact with has been super helpful! Couldn't be more ready to get down there! 2 weeks from today!!

We used DreamArt and were happy with the results. They were expensive but our pictures are beautiful. We were originally contracted with Ocean Photography but the resort started using DreamArt and switched it on us (without letting us know even though they changed the contract!!!). Anyway, I had a melt down but I was happy with them during the day and after getting the photos. I can't comment on the package because they made ours up to ensure we got everything we were contracted to get with Ocean and some extras to make up for it.

We had two photographers for the getting ready and ceremony, including a videographer, and for pictures and reception we had one photographer. We also got a photobook made. They did mess up our book and put the wrong wedding day on the cover but they very quickly made and sent us a new one.

We had Josephine. We were really happy with her when we got to the resort. She completely ignored us before we actually got to the resort which stressed me out but once there she was great.

I can't figure out the videographer either it shows one hour then mentions 5-10 minutes. So confusing and I can ever get a straight answer from anyone. :(

Good morning Ladies!

I have finally written my review for Moon Palace. It does not even begin to explain all the major fails that occurred during our vacation and wedding but i wanted to get something on here.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me and i'll be around to throw in my 2 cents and give my advice on the forum.

Good luck to all of you!

I've booked Dream Art and from my experience, NEGOIATE!!! They are pretty helpful with creating a package just for you but make sure you try for a deal. I told him my budget and they knocked off $500 to get within my budget.

My wedding isn't until November so I don't really have any comments on their services, but they've been very responsive to emails. I booked two photographers for 5 hours and have opted for the livestreaming of the ceremony, costing me $3000 (originally $3,500).

Good luck!

for photography we are using Bicoastal Images.  They are an outside vendor so there is a $400 fee, but Bicoastal will take $200 off to help cover the cost Palace charges for outside vendor fee.

I think you get much more with them than Dream Art.

you would have to contact them for pricing since its different depending on time of year, amount of time and service.

For what Dream Art was offering us for 5 hrs package, we got 8 hrs of service with Bicoastal plus we get another 4 hours on another day which we are using for trash the dress session, plus online photos, usb and photo book.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
