It needs to be the Grand terrace, no others, to be able to have extended hours. Is the only one that won't disturb other guest

I have chosen Caribbean Terrace, I will have to ask again if we can extend our reception but they told me because it is close to guest rooms that 10pm is the latest. Like I said it may be due to the time of year.

Thanks MrsTobeD,

That is fantastic news, I will be talking to Dolce about that as item number 1 on the list :D

and yes I have experienced the confusion already as well I think we had 3 people send us the wedding date request forms thinking that they were assigned to us :P so I just picked one and stuck with it.

I also heard rumours there might be an outdoor reception area able to continue past 10pm is this true? I surely hope so, that would be amazing cheesy.gif

You can do your reception on the Caribbean Terrace and extend till 12 midnight ! Thats what I am doing . my wedding is April 27th 2014. It's alot extra. You have to pay per hour, also You pay extra to have the reception in this location . It's extra 13 pp.

Is the Caribbean terrace a roof top terrace or on the beach? those are the ones that you have to pay the $13 fee, because of how difficult is to get the food there

As I said before, I feel every one of them (WC) have something different to say, that is what I was told by two of them, either Grand terrace or the beach at Grand.

Both my grandmother and my dad are handicap and my godfather is in a wheelchair. We had our ceremony at the bugambillias gazebo and the reception at the bugambillias terrace. Both were handicap accessible and they are right next to each other so people did not have to go far! Please note that the resort is very good about giving people a ride around in the golf carts if you are handicap. I swear they were best friends with my dad by the time we left!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
