Hi Kelly!

I am an October 2014 bride! We will be there October 8th- 15th! We are just beginning the process. We have had a really helpful WC so far who has been quick to respond! Let hope it continues to be this smooth! Happy planning!

Is anyone else finding the WC at moon Palace unresponsive? I'm really getting frustrated. I thought that I had a good WC until she told me that she was busy with other brides and she would get back to me next week. Well next week is here and I have sent an email to follow up but she has not followed up. I really have things that I need to get completed and I'm really annoyed that I'm not being taken seriously.

Mrs Peele- the WC are not very fast to respond- they are on "mexican" time and they are focusing on the current brides... which is a good thing!! You're wedding is plenty far away that you have plenty of time to figure everything out.  Just send your coordinator a email evey couple weeks with a list of questions so she can get back to you! Trust me- you really could just figure out what you are doing once you get to Mexico..these girls are amazing and know how to do their job!!! :)

I happen to disagree, if she needs to plan her weeding, I understand they are busy planning other weddings but one week is plenty of time for someone to get back to you, at least in the professional word, anything after 24 hours to respond to an email is totally unacceptable, a week? CRAZY!

Even more unacceptable is that someone will tell you that they are busy with other brides, will get back to you and never do...

Is it OK to call them and email them every day? NO, absolutely no, so I understand what you mean, but if she has main questions as needing pictures of locations, authorized vendors, a price list, etc. I don't see a problem with that, my WC gets back to me the same day, and believe me, she has other brides but we all deserve a least the courtesy of a response. If she is busy she will tell me that she will email me later on the day and I also understand that. But she never goes past the same day to respond.

About figuring out what to do once you get to Mexico: How do you plan your budget or decide what you want for your big day if you have no idea how much things cost? Some people are planners and like to have everything figure out, others are not, that is ok too.

I do agree that they are amazing, some more than others though.

When you get stressed out over them not responding just try to remember when you are there it will be you they are spending all of their time on. Sometimes my WC is super fast but the other week she was slow, so I just sent her a "hey did you get my last email" email and when she replied she explained how busy she was and that she was sorry. If you have questions so that you can come up with a realistic budget, I found it easiest to first ask ppl on here so I had a clue and then verified with the WC when she had a chance. They were usually pretty close! I definitely don't have all my questions answered but if you have anything I may be able to help you with feel free to ask! :)

My fiance and I will be getting married on June 16, 2014....sooo  excited and feel like I have sooooo much to do!  Save the Date magnets are going out this week (thanks to VistaPrint), but I'm starting on some of my other DIY projects.  Does anyone have the information they would share with me that they included in their Pre-Travel Brochure??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
