I am getting married June of 2014- we are still deciding on venues but leaning towards MB and a RIU property- I was wondering if someone could post the wedding attachment so I could see pricing for additional items- ie- renting out the disco- semi private steakhouse dinner- decorations.  Also could anyone who did there own floral recommend where I could order them from?  We will have about 75 people has anyone else had this size of group?  What kind of perks are they offering for booking with them?

Bestdestinationwedding.com Hi Past and future brides I am getting married at RMB november 2014 and will be having about 30-40 guests i am hoping for a 4-5pm beach gazebo ceremony with the 4 hour mahoe bay restaurant hire for $1,000,00. So i was wondering if anyone knows if you can do your first dances/speeches/parting their after the dinner? Because i dont see the point of hiring the disco when i will already be hiring the restaurant for 4hours. Also is it $1,000,00 plus $10.50pp? For private reception I would appreciate any help thank you xx

oh, goodness.. we each have 8 people on each side, and all coming! (38 people booked so far)

yes, all my silk flowers are pretty much finished, and for all flowers it was only around $250.00... and they look real- and gorgeous!

the food at the steak house is really good, and i've had it every time i've been there. the only thing they don't really explain to you is that for the first two courses, (salad/app/soup) is not served to you. it is all buffet style. the only thing actually served on a plate to you is your main course. i don't mind it though, because then no appetizers go to waste and you can pick what you like. dessert is also buffet style, but i think it would be served during the reception? i can let you know after my wedding :)

Hi, I was wondering where you got your silk flowers from?

My wedding is at the RIU Montego Bay a month from tomorrow! I haven't done a whole lot of planning... Time to get going! Lol. Can anyone recommend a great hairstylist and makeup artist? What about the salon at the resort? Has anyone gotten theirs done there? As far as reception, we are renting out the disco club after our semi-private dinner. Did you bring songs on CDs or an iPod for the DJ? I definitely want to be able to pick out and bring our first dance song, father daughter dance etc... Thanks for the advice ahead of time!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
