Hi @@amandab36!!! Welcome to the thread! We have lots of brides getting married here this year and hopefully we can keep adding more as they come lol! Have you made any decisions yet on your ceremony space, dinner, private party etc?

Nothing is set in stone yet just getting ideas galore right now, but the plan is to have the ceremony on the 5th floor terrace.  Then the reception at the palpalpas and rent then disco til 11pm.  I plan on booking Alex the photographer and just found out that he is friends with Jeffs family (small world) lol.

Oh that's you on facebook!!! I just saw your comment on the fb page lol!

That's exactly what we are doing! We are having our ceremony on the spa terrace at 3pm, then dinner at the palapas and private party at the disco. We are doing a salsa dance for our first dance (we've been dancing for over 2 years now) and so we liked the idea of the hard surface for the dance which is why we choose the disco. Also I like that there is seating. We also hired Alex for our wedding! So excited for the photos! His work is wonderful!

@@csho The spa terrace is beautiful!!! If I was going to get married at that hotel I would have picked the terrace as well. Just make sure there is no activities going on in the pool because it gets super loud up there.

Yes I have heard that! Our ceremony is at 3pm so from what I have heard we should be ok at that time!

post-261965-0-16107000-1391195739_thumb.jpgHey ladies! Whats everyone been up to?

I ordered tumblers for all my best girlfriends and my bridal party. I wanted to get my girlfriends a little something because if we weren't having a destination wedding they would have been in my party and to thank them for coming all the way with us!

I purchased them on etsy from a Canadian vendor in Alberta and I designed them myself!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
