Hey girls. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I did end up going to creative bag. I thought it was awesome!! I ended up getting 13 burlap table runners (I'm going to run lace down the middle of the burlap runner), a big roll of burlap (for my centerpieces), chalkboard labels for the mason jars, kraft tags (thank you note for the favours), supplies and a template for the drink flags, 100 grey and pink straws, grey and white bakers twine (to attach thank you tags), a kraft lunch box type thing for Matts "grooms gift", a few gift bags (these are so inexpensive and great for the holidays), a pack of mini clothes pins, 4 packs of tissue paper (making tissue paper balls), a tray I might put out if people bring cards (I don't want to assume people will bring cards....ugh), ohhh and last but not least and on an unrelated note.......Poop bags for Mr. Oakley. All of this for $115. I'm very impressed as decor should be around $250 total. I am going to take a picture of everything tonight and post tomorrow. I know ladies......I'm horrible at posting pics. Kay - They have sand at creative bag. I took a picture of it and will post it later on in the day. Hopefully it works for you. P.S. your princess is sooooo adorable!!! Carina - What a fabulous idea to hand out rum. Good job!! 1derwomanbride - Thanks so much I'll post a picture when I'm all done and have a mock up of the table I love the idea of fans. They have them at creative bag as well but were fairly expensive. You might be able to get them somewhere online much cheaper. Is anyone putting out a card box or something similar? I'm on the fence about this. I also ordered my flowers this weekend. I'm really stressing about this. I really hope that the lady understood my vision! Please keep all of your fingers and toes crossed lol Hope all is well ladies! .
Oh Alley I am super excited to see your photos and picture of a mock set up! Your wedding is going to be awesome! And seriously good price for everything you got! I have thought about a card box, but I also don't want to assume people are going to bring anything... especially where we are having a wedding ceremony here as well... I figure most people if they are bringing a card will give it then... but I have no idea. My sister recommended just bringing a nice gift bag and putting that out if need be. So I don't know yet what I'll do.

Thank you Carina. I think that will be the most exciting part. Actually seeing how it all came together the day of for everyone. It will be exciting to check back and see everyones pictures and read their reviews.

 

I know......such a hard decision. I don't EVER want people to feel obligated or bad that they didn't bring one. I'm thinking I might just forget about it.

Hey Kay. Here are the colours. You may want to look on line and see if there are more colours there. I feel like they are missing a whole section of colours.

I thought you were. I have a question for you. Did you find out about your baggage allowance. I'm waitng to hear back from my TA but I'm thinking because we were upgraded we get two pieces of luggage each (for Matt and I). I just wondered if anyone else was offered this.

If I read it correctly you can have 2 bags of a combined weight of 20kg for "regular" passengers. If you were upgraded you get an additional 20kg between the bride and groom... Obviously I'd double check with the TA, but I am 99% certain.

yes you get an extra 20kg between the bride and groom!! :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
