For those of you that have made a Pre-Travel Brochure - did you use Vistaprint? Or just create your own and print it on your own paper?

LOL....

The guests LOVED the Welcome Bags and were super thrilled and the best part was that we raised enough money that the price dropped from $92.22 per person for the Catamaran down to $32 per person for the entire group!  Can't wait to share this with my guests in my Fall Newsletter.

Lydia,

Even with just the one picture I can tell it was a blast... can't wait to see more pictures that is awesome news about the Catameran trip... that will be an awesome trip with plenty more memories for everyone!

I did my own, I made them in Word and then I printed them on my own paper it was easy and I didn't have to wait for Vistaprint, I am typically running behind so having to wait for them to arrive would have hit my deadline LOL

Thanks! I am just trying to decide which will be easier and cheaper! I might have to see if I can figure out how to do it on my computer!

I have started making a planning thread in word - so that when it comes down to the time to actually post it I won't have too much to do... but its so long already like 5 pages lol! And I have only gotten to my bridesmaids dresses lol! I know Lydia did a planning thread, but are any of you also doing one?

Kay2015,

I Googled Brochure templates and then followed the instructions to make the template and then I just added my information. There are loads of templates in Publisher but I didn't like any of them and there was a lot of deleting and such that had to be done, it wasn't hard to do in word so that was easiest for me!

Thanks Jolene! That's awesome! I wouldn't have even known where to start with this!

Ladies,

I think that it is safe to officially start my count down... tomorrow is 45 days and I just got an email that I will be able to pick my seats and meal for my trip! We are flying Club Class on Air Transat I went back and forth because this was a $700 upgrade but now that it is paid and all done I am really glad that we did it, even though all of our guests will be in economy class but how much "parting" can you do on the plane LOL!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
