Hello! I just signed up and have seen some interesting comments about destination weddings. I'm also planning my wedding next year (Feb/March) haven't set a date yet, in Cuba. At the moment, I haven't figured out where exactly the wedding will take place, that is why I am asking other brides/brides to be where they would suggest???? Thanks for your help!!

Hello!! I've just signed up so it's my first time writing a reply...I'm planning my wedding in Cuba next year (Feb/March) but haven't figured out where and what hotel is the best...I've had, and been to Cuba before but would like to get some more input from ladies who have already got married in Cuba to hear their experiences and suggestions. It will be a beach wedding, with around 40-50 guests. Thanks for your help!

Hi Kay

I want to introduce my self, I am wedding coordinator in Toronto, My son and his fiancé ask me to coordinate their wedding from here.

We are planning to book Laguna Azul for May 5th 2014, Your pictures very nice, congratulations.

My advice for you bouquet, if you have to add the blue colour, don't put on orchid like that you can have very small filling in blue between the white or hang a nice Blue Ribbon and rap the handle with blue.

While you been there did you price the wedding flowers and how much you think will coast you.

By the way the cake usually it's not that great, I had a wedding before in cuba, I was very disappointed but as you know they can't have everything in Cuba, My Idea for this wedding to elevate the cake with their wine glasses and buy too many candles and take it with us to put around the cake and the head table and more things we can carry to decorate the head table on our way.

Good luck with your planning

Hi csho

Very nice set up for the dinner table, you were asking how you will carry all that? why not to ask your guest specially your family, split every thing and wrap them very well and make everyone carry something for you.

Good luck

Thanks! I have decided to go a bit different of a way for the table set up, but I am definitely going to be recruiting my family and friends to help carry the décor!

Hi, did you already booked the date and how much you paid for all inclusive.

If it's not too much to ask, can you tell me which coordinator you're dealing with, we will arrive on May 5th, I did ask some one to quote  our own wedding flowers package and decorations, it's not clear to me how they charge for the ceremony and the guest dinner, it will be nice to hear from you.

Absolutely. Make sure you stop by our party too! It's soooo nice that we will be down there at the same time! Maybe even on the same flight!!

No, we are getting married on the terrace.

How are things coming along? Any new updates?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
