Hey there. Sorry about that. I totally missed your question the first time.

That's exactly how I made them. I picked up the letters from Walmart ($1.79 each) and then the twine (2.00) each and just wrapped them around. Just make sure you wrap them very tight. My fingers were almost raw from the pulling and handling of the twine. Love how they turned out though.

We are using the picture frame for a picture of my fiances dad. He passed away a year ago so we are going to do a little poem or something and the picture. I'm not sure where I'm going to set this up though. The LOVE will go on the guest book table. My boss at work, her dad does wood working and he's going to make my puzzle for everyone to sign as a pseudo guest book.

Oh thats awesome! We thought about doing the puzzle guest book since my FI loves puzzles. But since we decided to do the engagement photo thing I think I am going to make a photo book/guest book them for everyone to sign :) I love love love the LOVE sign so I think I am going to attempt to make ones like it! Hope you don't mind me borrowing your idea! As for the frame - that sounds so nice. You could put it up at the front table during the ceremony where you will sign your papers (if you're having a legal ceremony there). That would be a nice place for it.

Yeah it is a little ridiculous thei year, I always got 3 and then they let us "buy" a week, which is just taking the money off our pay cheque and banking it so I had 4 then they changed entitlement for me to 4 weeks so with my purchase it is 5 and then I had the week and 1/2 from 2012 to use... LOL I keep shaking my head becasue I have all this time! lol it is nice for sure

Well I was thinking if you were going, if you don't mind picking some up for me! They are soo expensive here! I found some at Michaels but were like 21$ for 4 or something ridiculous! Anyway let me know when you're going and we can work out the logistics!

Hey lovely ladies,

I need some help!

I have come up with two centrepiece ideas... I am really torn about which one I want to go with. I personally really like the one with the coral "vase". My sister, SIL, and Mom prefer the glass one. My FI says he likes both so to go with whichever one I really like. The coral vase option is what my original idea was - because I want to add some colour to the table and its very hard to find coral flowers and I do not want table runners. I like the glass one - I just feel like it doesn't add much colour. And I don't know if I am just being stubborn about the coral one because it was my idea and I went through the trouble to find the perfect box to paint and put more effort into it lol! I have added a photo of the venue so you can get an idea of what our venue will look like. I guess I also feel like the coral one looks a bit more rustic to fit the venue whereas the glass one looks a bit more "classy". Anyhow either one I go with I will also be adding another shorter square votive candle holder with a starfish on it attached with either twine or raffia. I'd love your honest opinions!

Oh my goodness I am so happy to hear someone say that! I love it and my family for whatever reason just doesn't seem to and it makes me think maybe it isn't as cute as I think. But this helps me to confirm that I made the right decison. Not to mention the glass ones are super heavy and I made that one out of a paper mache tissue box I got at Michaels thats super light weight!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
