Awh i'm sorry honey! I hope the dress turns out great for you! Sometimes, with those DHGate sellers, you just have to keep on asking and asking for pictures. It sucks they didn't send pictures before they shipped it. :(

Just though I'd share. Got my dress from Denia's Bridal (hua_yi_zhang). The seller was fast to respond to my messages. It took them 3 weeks to make the dress. It's made to my measurements and fits me perfectly. I already left them my 5 star feedback.

Well we got our dress. Got here very quickly. It is not a bad dress at all. Well made. Not even close to what we were hoping for. The one on the left is the daughter getting married. She is in the original dress we were trying to replicate. The one on the right is her sister trying on the Chinese one because the engaged one lives in another state. They have similar bodies and builds. 400 The satin is not the even close, the box pleats are completely wrong in the front and the bodice is shaped wrong, shaped funny, and is covered in beads. The proportions in bodice and satin sash are off. We could probably rework the sash and I could easily take off the beading, but it might not be enough.

Okay ladies so I ordered an Allure knock off for my TTD from Babyonline about 2-3 weeks ago.  They said it would ship probably towards the end of March so I didnt think much of it when I didnt hear from them. Prior to placing the order Sunny and I discussed receiving pictures BEFORE it shipped! I received an auto-generated email on Monday saying the dress shipped! I emailed Sunny and of course the dress shipped and she has no pictures to send me. Furious doesnt even explain how I feel about this. As I anxiously await the package and cross my fingers and hope for the best I would highly suggest that you stay in contact with your vendors after a week or 2 and start requesting pictures despite the anticipated completion date they give you. My mistake was that since they said end of March for an estimated completion date I kinda took the back seat thinking it was too soon for pics all the while it was pretty much done and getting bagged up to be shipped out. I will be sure to send pics when it arrives. BangHead.gif

This happened with us. I posted about it in this thread. You can go through and find my old posts.  I asked them to take their time, offered to pay extra for lower "shine" satin, and there were a few things they could have altered with pictures, such as the bodice arriving full of sequins and sparkles. They said they would send pics before they mailed and did not.

The dress got to my door in three weeks. We ended up not  being happy and there is nothing we can do.

We did not use babyonline, though, and I heard their dresses are often just right. If it is TTD, you should have not problem......our dress was actually well made, it just isn't "right" somehow.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
