For the ladies who have had their weddings at Dreams, would anyone mind sharing what time they had their ceremony and outdoor reception? Dreams cutoff time for outdoor receptions is @10:30 and I want to start considering the hourly rates for music, photos etc.

 

I really want sunset pics but the WC recommended 6:30 for the ceremony but that leaves a short outdoor reception. HELP PLEASE!

TA Teresa is great!  She has been a BDW TA from the beginning and does most of the Dreams Cabo brides.

Hey Ladies, So went I to bed last night excited because I had emailed DJ Ricardo and quickly responded asking me for details (how many hours, guests,who is coordinator) so that he may give me the best quote for my special day, blah, blah..then I wake up today to this response: let me congratulate for having Magda as your wedding coordinator, she is a very nice and a hard working woman, you are in excellent hands! In regards to pricing please contact Magda she will give you all information about it. If you have any questions or comments please let me know Looking forward to have the opportunity to serve you. Ricardo Patiño Destination DJ Specialist I am little confused since his first email was all about let me give you a great quote. To the brides who have booked Ricardo - did he refer you to go back to your WC for pricing? Thanks Ladies

DJ Ricardo was a bit too expensive for us and he might have referred you back to your WC because he is booked on your wedding date. Not sure because he quoted me a price right away. We went with DJ Ron Weber instead.

Tammy did you find Teresa to be more expensive than any other TA/deal for Cabo out there?

Thanks for your input - I just realized he actually cc'd the WC in his response and she responded with the price that they have in the Guide ($300.00 per hour, min 3 hours) and also would be charged to use the equipment during the ceremony @ $225.00...it just seems a little sketchy...

 

Anyways, can you provide me with DJ Ron's contact info? Thanks!

Teresa's rates are really competitive.  If you think you found lower rates, share them with her because many times, when you break down the rates by component they are higher.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
