K so I saw a couple of people giving their FI a book before the wedding and finally figured out what it is hahah. Anyways my questions is how can you make your own? Or can you? And how do you? If not where did you do yours? Any information helpful.

p.s. not sure if I put this thread in the right place feel free to move it.

Hi, most of the girls had their photos done professionally. Then I think some of them did their own books, but I think some mad their own. I would contact nurseSarah, Ann, Courtney, or Jessalyn. I'm sorry I don't remember all of their forum names. Also, do a search for BDR photos and you should be able to get more inf from that search. Good luck!! I'm sure someone else will answer better in the morning.

i made one for a a client to give to her fiance at the dinner rehearsal.

1. First get a friend of yours to take some shots of you in underware and sexy bra, some of the best poses are when thigns are left to your imgagination, if you type in boudiour photos on google you can get an idea of poses,

2. but a kolo book that can fit 5x7's. aaron brothers has them for cheap- but the soldi black one-also pick up some old photo corners in black.

3. have your printer or rite aid print them in sepia tone, add a border.

4. put one picture on one side & write love notes on the other side to your fiance.

wrap in a sexy red bow, a big one! Et voila !

I got my photos done from Leigh Miller, but a lot of girls have looked around themselves for various photogs.

They are professional photos and then either you can make your own book or create your own (which is what I did)

I am making my own BD book, I have tons of time to make one, so I decided to put my care and enegry into it. Plus, I think there is a certain feeling of satisfaction knowing what you've accomplished. It's an incredibly personal gift and I'd like to add more of my personal touch!

I agree that you should be careful. There is a thread somewhere on here with a link to a photography site with some really great recommendations, I'll see if I can find it.

I do happen to disagree about the male photographer. Of course, you should be completely comfortable. My photographer was Leigh Miller (California | New York | Worldwide) and she did a FANTASTIC job, but her "associate photographer" (or whatever they're called) was a male (Riccis: Riccis Valladares Photography). It took some thinking, but I eventually decided it wasn't that big of a deal. I think a male photographer may be able to bring another perspective, which could be beneficial.

Also, Shea had her BD pictures done by Jonathan Thrasher, which are amazing!! Here's the thread: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...s-bd-pics.html

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
