Sandals Reception Tables!!!

Recommended Posts

This is the most helpful stream I have found thus far....THANK YOU!!! I am getting married at the Sandals resort La Toc in St Lucia and had some questions about the reception. My fiance and I decided to do a destination wedding to keep things small and (as far as weddings go) inexpensive. We have 18 people including ourselves and am finding it hard to swallow that they want to charge for this when we are on an all inclusive resort. A former Sandals bride told me that instead of doing the full blown reception, they just made a dinner reservation once they got there for everyone. Do any of you have any thoughts/suggestions/advice on this? Also, we are getting married on the beach and have opted for the "basic" wedding package. Could someone tell me if that includes chairs, flowers and an arch? I had a phone consultation with the coordinator but did not find it helpful :/

hi,

I am looking to get married at the sandals royal caribbean also. I am looking to have the ceremony and evening reception at the private island, where did you have yours? do you have any information on whether you get the island to yourself for the whole wedding and also if you can have the whole evening there? I would like a private ceremony and also meal afterwards with about 15 guests, and i want the meal to be private and not in a restaurant with other guests?

It would be great if you have any information on this,

Thanks,

Carly

Hi jilliebeans. I am trying to decide which of the Sandals resorts in MObay I will get married at. Do you mind sending me your pictures? I'd appreciate it! Also, did you use a Sandals photographer or your own? Thanks!!

I really have one main question:

Where you able to bring in your own decorations? I saw somewhere that there was a setup charge of $250 to bring your own things, but have also heard that they didn't actually charge that when it came down to it. What did you do?   Thanks! cheers.gif

I was told they can put together 2 rectangular tables, but you still pay for both, we ended up doing this instead of having 2 round tables. Also they allow to bring some decorations at no charge, I'm bringing silk fans, favors, flower petals with flower petals cones and wishing well. I take they only charge if you bring your own table linens, stationary or centerpieces. Some little items are ok. I'll be posting more after we are back in 2 weeks.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
