HAHA we could start a new website :)

I am glad I never really second guessed my dress.  I knew I had 2 top favorites but one wasn't in my budget nor exactly what I was envisioning for a beach wedding!

haha I can't wait to wear mine! but yes, I tend to forget over time how good it looks so it helps to try it on again. Then any doubts are gone. I think the main enemy for me is seeing beautiful dresses online or on pinterest :P. I still think I got the right one, but I always wonder, "what if?"

Here's mine, just got it on Thursday. Still have to get alterations done next month but I am in love with it. Funny thing too, I was walking around the store with it on and this mom commented on how her daughter should try it on and the girl comes out and is like "I want to try that on" ended up getting the same dress ha ha. She was getting married in Cuba this January, so she might even be on here lol!

Most likely at Ethos. I am just worried if I try someone new and it doesn't end up being what I like, I'll be hooped. It's so expensive I tell you to get it altered!

Yes the bridal stores are.  If you use their alterations department do you get some sort of 'insurance'? Not like they could fix it well if they screwed up the first time, but....

I have mine booked at David's Bridal (they start doing them 2 months in advance)... but I know of a private place cheaper so I may go that route!

I was able to book my alteration with David's Bridal in October - I just had to ask. Then again, all I need is a hem.

But they want to charge me $171 for a hem!!! I'm thinking about going to a private place to get a hem, bustle and the crinoline ripped out of the bottom (maybe).  Its pretty hard to screw up a hem and a one point american bustle (although I might look at an Austrian bustle as I have ruching on the back side of my dress already.  Hoping I can get that all done for the same amount!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
