I am in 100% agreeance with you!!!!  I am a two-dress bride too.  And same thing, started with a ball gown and changed it to a more destination-friendly dress.  Good for you for getting what you want.  No one should regret their dress on their wedding day.  =0)

If you are that bride that isn't sure about her dress, I say do what you can to get the dress you WANT!  Even if that means that it wont be brand new.  Its worth it!!  You want to look at the pictures for the rest of your life and say WOW look at my dress!!

Good luck with everything girls!!

Ugh... I'm sure almost every bride goes through this at some point during their wedding planning... at least I hope I'm not alone.

As I was searching for my dress, I fell in love with a particular dress Rhianna Royale by Maggie Sottero (For the longest time I have had a love/obsession for Maggie dresses) well, I couldn't find it anywhere to try on by where I live.  And I didn't feel comfortable ordering it with out seeing it in person or trying it on.  Well it's a semi-popular dress so I keep seeing it on brides.  this is the dress:

Well, when I went dress shopping I tried on a bunch of dresses... but when I tried this one on, I did not want to take it off!  It was super sparkly and had so much texture.  while I had it on, I had no doubt I was in love... my only debate was whether I should get it in ivory (like the sample) or white.  I went with Ivory since that's what was reccomended and what I tried on.  Here is my dress... It's an Allure C175.

Anyway... so I'm going back and forth in my mind about whether or not I picked the right dress or if I should have just ordered the Maggie and hoped for the best.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me feel better....  did I pick the right dress?

Venus I think you answered your own question.  If you did not want to take off the dress you ordered, then you chose the right dress.  The right dress makes you feel beautiful and special and feels right when you have it on.  You totally made the right choice!  A lot of brides second guess after they order their dress then remember exactly why they bought it when it arrives and they put it on.  Go back to the bridal shop and "visit" the sample dress to make yourself feel better in the meantime. I did and the salespeople said brides do that all the time!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
