This looks very similar to the Pronovias Galante!!!! It is one of my absolute favourites and one I am deciding between....  Where did you have it made if you don't mind me asking!?!

I went to my first fitting yesterday and the dress fits better than I expected.  I can't wait to finally get to wear it, only 2 more months until my wedding.  Getting excited!!!

Thanks for the referral to Moose Creek Alliance! I made an appointment there this morning so I'll be checking them out this week!! I'm crossing my fingers that I'm able to find something! :)

I actually made an appointment at Alliance for later this week! I've asked around and so many people have said good things I thought I'd try it before I go to a ton of other stores! lol

 

I'm really excited to see others from Ottawa as well. We're going to Punta Cana at the end of April 2012, how about you?

 

I LOVE Maggie dresses! I really hope I'm able to find one that I love. I'm also looking at Sophia Tolli's collection. She used to design for Maggie Sottero so the styles are very similar.

 

I haven't even started looking for bridesmaid dresses yet. My girls are kinda all over Ontario so we're planning a trip for in like Aug-Sept.

Katiem - I'm sure you'll find it! Check out Alliance if your still stuck after the other stores.. They carry Maggie Sottero (both of the ones I'm considering are Maggie as well) and they have rooms and rooms full of gowns.

 

Janet - It's great to hear that the service is just as good even after having purchased.

 

Have you guys thought about Bridemaids dresses? Any stores I should be checking out. I was planning on getting the girls dresses at Alliance as well but I really haven't looked around all that much on this front.

This is lovely and fun!  David's Bridal has some great BM dresses as well.  Fuschia is called watermelon there.

I am getting married at Paradisus Punta Cana in October :)

 

I bought the wedding party dresses at Alliance as well. The dresses came in really quickly too but they are just holding them for me until we are 6 weeks before the trip and we will go in for alterations on everything :) i looked pretty much everywhere but because i wanted a specific color they had soooo much more to offer and fabric swatches etc. and when you buy your bridal gown you get discounts on everything else. i bought my moms dress there too and got a discount on that as well :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
