Maria, I LOVE the jeweled belt idea!! I just brought that idea up to my sister today. It might be the perfect little touch of sparkle...and don't you just love etsy?!? I'm going to go browse now :-)

Actually becks, I think the reason I love your dress so much is because it's pretty similar to mine! And my sash had three rows of crystals on it. I LOVED it!!! But I still think a flower would be pretty! :)

Rachel, that dress is amazing on you. So pretty!

Is yours the 2010 Ambrosia? I tried on this dress and was totally stunned, it's so gorgeous!!! I'm between that one and the Brianna right now (two totally different dresses). I'm still trying to decide if the Ambrosia is "too much" for a beach wedding, and if it would be too hot. But I see you'll be wearing it in May so that makes me feel better - lol! I would love to see pics of you in it!

Yes it's the new 2010 range. I fell in love with it in a magazine and as soon as i tried it on i knew it was "the one"! It is beautiful and fits in all the right places! So comfortable! Yes it is a big dress but i wanted to feel like a princess and Ambrosia made me feel like that. I will have a hoop under it so i have room around my legs for a little breeze, hee hee!! I think you have to go with what is "you" though. A straighter dress just doesn't suit me. A friend of mine got married in Mexico last yr and had a more fitted dress and she said it stuck to her legs in the heat and was so uncomfortable. So everybody is different i suppose! Destination or not it had to be Ambrosia for me, lol. Good luck in finding your's!

Oh i haven't got a photo of me in it but when i go for my first fitting i'll make sure i take some! :o)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
