Thanks so much, Tori Lynn!!  The more I look at the dress pictures & all the sweet comments, I am totally sure that I made the right decision.  It was my 2nd time out trying on dresses.  I cannot believe I found it so fast.  It is a Paloma Blanca # 4115.  My Mom actually saw it first and said I should try it on.  It was the first once I tried on and nothing else compared afterward.  The organza ruffles reminded my dress consultant of ocean waves...I loved that analogy. I was given a free veil although I may just wear a tropical flower in my hair & some big ornate earrings and bracelet(s).

Ok...so I look like a hot mess in this picture...and it's clipped to me...but here's my dress!!! Ahhh! I can't believe I bought it. And I went by myself with no entourage, and just decided that was it. It was completely liberating, and I love it! I bought it where I swore I would NEVER buy a gown, David's Bridal. But if it works...it works, and I'm tickled. I'm going to wear a light petticoat for the ceremony just to give some lift to the pickups, and then take it off for the reception. 3:00pm in Cancun in July might be a TAD warm.

Here is what I chose....I pray I can KEEP reminding myself.  My wedding is not until April 2013!  love.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
