I think it may just be your photo - You can tell that the model is sorta at a side angel, with one foot in front of the other, where the one you took of yourself is a full flat front view. I like it! I think it looks like a perfect destination dress! What I did with my dress, I'm having the seamstress take out one of the layers underneath. Mine is also a destination dress, but I felt the same way, it was more fitted on the model in the catalog, than it was on me, and like my seamstress said, the models have these dresses totally altered to them, so it is possible they didn't keep all the layers. Mine only has 3 layers, but she said that the one layer would make a big difference.

Don't mind the camera - I couldn't find the timer setting on my camera so I had to do it with the mirror.

I am freaking out! I am having second thoughts with this dress, I almost feel like I don't like it anymore!! It makes me look very bottom heavy. Definitely looks better on the model than on me. But it's too late now. It's done and paid for. It's still pretty, I just don't feel as gorgeous as I thought I would.

I'm pretty sure the length just comes off the front and maybe around towards the sides.  I do like the train, but I hate how it looks bustled and I would rather not be dragging it around all night haha!

QUESTION--When you get your dressed hemmed, mine is way to long, does that take length off the train to or just the front?

I looked at this tread a lot and want to contribute my dress as well!  I bought in a few weeks ago and love it!  Tried on about 30 dresses in one day so was slightly overwhelmed... don't do what I did!  Can't wait to wear it in 8 months!!!!!!  It'll come in sometime in July and it's Allure 8815

I realllllly liked this one too, but tried it on without my mom and didn't tell her (before buying "my" dress).  Sometimes I think I like this one more (San Patrick Eresma)....  I need to get over it though!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
