I hear you!!! When I knew Maggie would be my designer, I found those low priced dresses and got so excited too!! I had so many people say to me that it wouldn't be what I expected and that this is my wedding dress I was talking about going cheap on...I kind of decided they were right that it wasn't worth it. I am so crazy about my dress!!!!! :o) I'd like to see what they look like too!! You picked a GREAT dress -- It's so wierd that I thought the landis was THE dress for me for awhile, then I started getting the itch that I just felt like it was missing something for me (my style I mean)..I got back on maggies site and fell in love with Leoni and that was that! I called over a dozen salons until one store finally had to order in a 'rental' just to try it on!! I was determined, but it was well worth it! In my case, it was good that I went looking again...even though they say not to!

...and wow, people get bitter on this site!!!

Test Market was explained to me as the designer only puts out a couple dresses national wide to see how well they sell and if the designer will mass produce them. I am the only one in my state with this dress :) It's kinda cool to have one that unique.

I had a bad experience with the knock off. I originally wanted a Romona Keveza dress but after seeing the tag of 3k I thought going the knock off route would be good. The dress cost less than $300 but when I got it I didn't like it that much. After leaving it with my mom for two months I got it back and tried it on again and realized how much I hated it. I ended up shopping at the last minute for a dress and ended up with an Alfred Angelo that I loved much better...and the complete opposite of what I thought I wanted. For my body type I really needed to try on the dress to make sure it complimented me. Here's mine:

    • we ended up using Facebook messenger when we were in Mexico - the hotel had free wifi and at least 1 person from each family/couple had FB on their phone already - it was pretty easy to communicate among guests "hey, we're heading to the beach bbq for lunch." or "everyone is hanging at the small pool today".  a plus was that some people tried to get a hold of me via FB on the day of the wedding and I was totally not checking my phone - they were asking if the wedding was outside given the rain forecast, thankful my mom, MOH and a few other friends were on the group and could respond for me :)

    • Hi Everyone, So, I was cleaning out my closet and realized that I never sold off my extra wedding OOT bag stuff from our wonderful DW.   46 Daily Spanish for Dummies 30 Pool colored OOT fabric bags - approximately 13in x 13in. They lay flat.  I used them for our wedding and they were perfect for everything we needed to fit in each bag. There’s a slight shade variation in the group; I’m guessing some were cut from a different bolt of fabric.  They are also a little wrinkled from storage and will probably be wrinkled from shipping. I have three additional ones, but they somehow got something on them (likely toddler related). If needed, I can try to wash it out and send those as well.
    • I’m getting married in six months to my foreign girlfriend. I was advised by a friend that one of the things I need to do before saying I do is to get a prenuptial agreement. Basically it’s supposed to protect my assets and properties in case my relationship with my future wife goes down the drain. I don’t know though if this is an acceptable practice when marrying Kiev ladies. I don’t want to do it if it would be insulting on her end. I need advice on this. Please help me.
