Ok so I ended up buying a different dress than I wanted. I love it sooo much. Most of the dresses I have loved are pretty and seem ok on me but I feel that they are boring on me. Here are the links to my dress shopping experiences.

So I found this one yesterday in AZ and I feel in love with it. It is an Amy Michelson dress. The name of the dress is Swoon which I also love and I got it for 75% percent off. $4000 dress for $900. Whooo hooo. It is a little dirty because it is a sample but noting a little cleaning can't take care of. So excited!!! Here are the pics of me and the model. I might leave the tie in the front out...depends if I can find a flower on extcy that matches rather than the bling thing. What do you think? Would a flower look good? wink.gif

I am not a bling girl, so I agree with leaving it off. I do think that your idea of a flower would be great though (a lot of them have a tiny bit of bling in the middle that would be a good accent but not too much) - a way to tie it in a bit with the outdoor/destination theme. Congrats on finding THE dress.

What kind of flower should I find? Simple? Chiffon? Silk?

The dress is chiffon with satin ribbon like straps. So the flower would be on the satin/silk part. Should I match the flower on the dress to the flower in my hair?

Thanks in advance!

Congrats on finding your dress! It looks stunning on you. Do you need to 'replace' the bling piece with something? If it's just a pin, I would almost leave it with just the satin ribbon. I love the simplicity of the ribbon making the detail! Fabulous :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
