Yeah ! I picked up my dress ! I still don't have a venue, but I will have a dress ! After all, if FI is here and I have a dress, what else do I need...

So here it is - it's Winnie Couture. My best shopping experience ever ! Great salon, great destination collection, great people, too.

I hope the pics posting works it's my first time...

Can't show you yet how it looks on me as the salon model was one size too small for the hips and one size too bigs for the chest... yes I'm two sizes apart... (sigh)

One thing I can check off my list ! thewave.gif

i can't believe it's my turn to do this! i found my dress this weekend ... it is NOTHING AT ALL like what i thought i wanted (the two things i didn't want were satin & strapless), but i had to admit it really looked stunning on, and besides, it made 3 of the 5 people with me CRY, haha. (i wasn't allowed to take pics ... that will have to wait a few months i guess). mine is ivory with silver beading, not white like the pics. like many of you have said before, these pics just don't do it justice at all! so "blingy" in person! without further ado, here it is (allure 8531)!

Okay ladies. I need your help. I posted the last questions about the dress above because I am having second thoughts on my dress.

Here is a picture of the back of my dress. Though I need to drop about 8 lbs so it isn't tight in the ass. I would truly love some opinions on if you think the dress is the right cut for my rearhuh.gif?? I love my curves, but the more I look at gowns that don't hug your lower half the more I think I should do a different dress.

So the questions is am I crazy should I just stay with my dress?

Maybe I am just PMSing so I can't decide right now.

again it is a little tight, but nothing 8 lbs won't cure:)

I thought I would share my dress too :) I don't have any pics with me in it, I have this weird thing about taking pics in the dress before the big day lol! Im ok with everyone else doing it, but Im oddly scared of doing it myself... I don't know lol!

Anyway, I took that strange flower off the top, I reeeeaaalllly didn't like it hehe :) Sorry I don't know how to share pics *blush*

Hey guys,

I saw this dress in a magazine recently, and although it's not my style, I thought someone out there might like it...the starfish theme seems to be so popular that I thought it might fit well...the dress is style #M776 by Jordan Bridals, which is a pretty inexpensive brand...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
