Haven't bought it yet, but tried it on at Klienfelds and RK Bridal and I love it. Part of me wants something a little more bridal, but I don't want to burn up in the heat in my dress. Dress is by Marisa. Oh and this is the sample so I would get it a size bigger.

This is my dress, but I am having it tapered on the sides so it is more of a "fit and flare" shape... and not sure about the veil. I am thinking no veil because the back is so pretty... of coarse it will look much better after I have it fitted to me, and not a size 6!

Hi Girls...

So i went to a Pronovias trunk show this morning just to check out the dresses that they have available. I already had my wedding dress in mind $4000 and there was no other dress that would have been able to change my mind. Well little and behold I bought my wedding dress...I absolutely love it!!! Here it is, its still at the shop because I dont want my FI to see it but i purchased this dress and I also bought a feather piece for my hair its beautiful. I will post the piece later but I got both pieces for under 1900. I couldnt help it...what a steal..

I'm new around here...but I've really enjoyed looking at everyone's beautiful gowns! Here's mine. It isn't anything like I imagined getting (I wanted something super simple...I was considering going with a JCREW dress...long and fitted) but my mom and sister both convinced me that this was THE dress. I wasn't even planning on buying a dress that day...just going to browse given that we haven't even booked our resort yet or sent out invitations or done any of the other millions things required to make this wedding happen...but I guess I can check one thing off the list! LOL!

I'm not sure how to upload photos but here's the website...

Paradise Style 7051

I'll probably just wear it strapless without the one strap.

here is a pic of mine. Considering we had 10 weeks or so from engagement til wedding day I kept trying ones on at stores where they would tell me it wouldnt come in on time. I also was on a tight budget!!

So i went to Alfred Angelo for a different style and ended up buying this one ( off the rack-and never tried on but another person-it was still wrapped up :) I got lucky.... still not my first choice...I wanted one with rouching to make my fat tummy look slimmer but....oh well

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
