You look great in all of them! My dilemma was a little different as my 2 preferred styles where different from yours. In the end I went with the one that made me feel like a bride (as cliché as that sounds). The other 2 were gorgeous and surprisingly fit me amazingly, but they could have been just a gorgeous red carpet dress. Don't know if that helps you at all but it's a bit of what I went through :) happy dress shopping! !
Thank you do much. Yes this does help. That's the feeling I want to feel like a bride

I agree with Sarahyu... you look amazing in all of them. The second one is my favourite, but that could be because my dress looks similar lol! I also love the third more fitted one. I think if you chose any of them you would look gorgeous! I tried on about 60 dress before I decided on 'the one'. I was getting really discouraged because there were ones that I liked and that looked good, but I couldn't picture myself wearing any of them down the aisle. Finally I tried one on and I didn't even have it all the way on and I just knew it was the one. I felt so beautiful, sexy, and very bridal and the biggest thing was I could envision myself walking down the aisle and getting married in that dress! It was also the only dress that I didn't want to take off... I would have been happy to walk out of the store with the dress on lol! Have you felt like that in any of them? If not I'd say keep looking and you'll find one that you absolutely love and want to keep on forever!
Thank you so sweet you ladies are. That's how I'm feeling now discouraged. Don't have much time to decide since I waited so long kept waiting to lose weight. Is your dress a Maggie sotero? I actual loved that one as well the train was what got me.

I actually tried on about 25 or so dresses. My dress was somewhere in the teens, and I just kept going back to it. After putting it on, nothing compared to how I felt in that dress. It's completely different from what I thought I wanted and it was suggested by the attendant I had working with me that day. They know what they are doing! Haha
I am going to go try on my faves again all with veil and see if I have the moment

I like the front of 2 and 4 - but you have to choose what makes you feel great ! I tried on probably 100 dresses but I found "my dress" toward the beginning. I kept comparing all the other dresses in my head to "the one".  I didn't have a traditional "this is it...followed by waterworks" moment that I saw countless times on Say Yes to the Dress. Slightly disappointed with my own reaction, at first I kept on searching, but in the end I knew I felt amazing in my choice and it just so happens I am not a crier when it comes to dresses - who knew! (because I seriously have cried over many other details lol) Good luck, and you'll look beautiful in any of those choices !
Thank you! I also like the fronts of the dresses. I like pieces of all lol.. that's great to hear because that's what I have been waiting for. That oh my god tears flowing this is it moment? ?

Since this a thread for honesty- I will offer you my honest opinion. I like the two I kept in my reply- 2 and 3. The fit of three flaters you so much- it looks amazing. The second one (first one pictured here) is dramatic and screams bride to me more than the fit and flare though. This is my take- its about what you feel gorgeous in. Not every style works for every bride so its important to know your body. There isn't one right dress. I tried on a ball gown because thats what "brides wear" and to humor my mother. I hated it! It was too bulky and it didn't feel like me- so just because it looks "bridal" or looks amazing on some women, doesn't make it right for you.

My advice is the same advice I will use for myself when buying a house. Pick your non-neogtiables- the things you have to have in a dress. For me it was straps, bling, and ease of travel. That helps to eliminate certain styles. I only tried on one strapless dress (it was the ballgown lol) because I knew I did not want a strapless dress- so no need to bother with those styles. I also didn't want a plain dress- there went a few more styles, and ease of travel eliminated ballgowns for me haha. I went to Davids bridal and had a terrible experience and ended up not trying anything on. Then I went to a salon called Bridal Reflections and tried on 8 dresses. My dress was number 2. I didn't love it as soon as it was on because it was a bit different from what I envisioned- though it fit all my criteria, so I continued to try on dresses. But I kept comparing everything to my dress so the consultant made me put it back on. I told her it was missing something- she gave me a cathedral veil and a bouquet and bam. I could not stop smiling ear to ear, I didn't want to take it off, and I really envisioned myself wearing that dress on the beach.

When it was done and I saw it I cried with regret because I thought it looked different than what I ordered- it was just bridal nerves because it looked amazing at my final fitting.

I wish you the best of luck- don't stress it too much. Go with the one when you come out of the dressing room you think "I can really see myself marrying my husband in this" Sounds corny but close your eyes and try to envision your wedding. Which dress are you wearing? And then STOP LOOKING. Do not watch Say Yes to the Dress, Do not shop online, Don't watch Dave Tutera - you will second guess your choice and make the process more agonizing than it should be. Good luck!

Hi ladies I have a question for all of you who have picked your dresses.  Before you picked the "one" how many did you try on?  Did you immediately know that it was your dress?  I am so confused. Before I tried on dresses I had the "type" I thought I wanted all figured out.   But now, I can't really decide between fit and flare and ball gown I kind of like both I get a different feel with each. I feel like a princess and I'm like awww I look like a princess then I try on the other and I'm like oh this is sexy!  Any advice?

I have attached a couple pics. please excuse the pink bra and any lasing that's not completely tied.  Some where not in my size..

Oh I forgot to mention...I CRIED. haha, and I'm usually not one to get emotional over a dress, but the moment I realized that was it...I definitely couldn't hold it. And now...when I watch Say Yes to the Dress...I am a little baby, hahah!
Hahaha too funny! You should sympathize with them
I also cried once I realized it was the dress also! Only the second time I tried it on though!
I hope I have the this is it even if no tears jusy wanna no
Also I didn't want to try other dresses on once I knew, but I had another appointment so I went and tried them on but even though I tried on some gorgeous dresses afterwards, I still compared them to the one. I slept on it and woke up dreaming of myself walking down the aisle in that dress and then I knew forsure it was the one!
That's sweet dream gown awesome

I probably tried on around 20-25 dresses on two different outtings. I found the dress on the second outting. I'm not really a crier, except for when I actually see weddings. But I started crying before I was even tied up. I felt silly, but I just knew it was my dress. It was a bit too small, but I could see exactly how it would fit, loved the bodice, had a simple a-line skirt. I just felt like a bride, and not a girl in a pretty dress. like some other girls said, you'll eventually start comparing new dresses to a dress that stands out for you. Nothing will top it. And you'll know.
Thank you I sure hope so

Thank you so much honesty is exactly why I posted. #2 was actually the one I thought was it for me. I didn't cry or anything but I loved it on. I wanted maggie which is why I went to this particular shop. I also want some bling, strapless, and an awesome train. Going to do just that try on faves have attendant dress them up and clothes my eyes and feel the moment.

Mine is not Maggie, its Impression Bridal, but its a similar style in that it is fitted and has the wavy bottom. I absolutely love those wavy bottoms and think it would work so perfectly for a beach wedding! It has less bling the one you have on, but only because I knew I did not any bling under my arms! Too much chance for a rash loL! I personally love love love the second one on you. I think its absolutely gorgeous! But obviously you have to love it! I think sometimes we try on so many dresses and its easy to get confused! My first time out I was very confused by then end. I'd go back and try on the ones you liked again with a clear head and see if you get that feeling with any of them! Can't wait to hear what you decide on!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
