So I went to David's Bridal in Yonkers for a second dress because my mother refused to let me "trash the dress". She paid for my dress and I am wearing it again at my AHR so she's afraid I'll destroy it. The dresses at DB were on sale so we figured we'd find something similar for a reasonable price. I tried on a dress that everyone loved and it was on sale. I almost took the dress, but there was a bride to be with an entourage of 10 and when they saw me in the dress they kept telling the bride to be "you need to try that one" I was in my dressing room taking it off when her consultant came and literally peeled it off of me and said "I'm going to just steal this for a moment". I wasn't even out of it yet! Wtf! I was so pissed off that untold my consultant how rude the other consultant was and my mother was so upset that she said "forget it, don't bother getting a second dress just use yours" LOL. I ended up winning because I really want to wear my dress for my TTD and I'm certain based on other brides and the photographer that the dress will be ok, but I still think that was terrible treatment. The other bride btw gloated and her entourage said "it looks better on you. That's your dress". Classy. I'm glad I bought my dress elsewhere. They definitely did not treat me like that.

Hi Dress Twin.....posted me in mine awhile back!! What are you doing for a bra since the back is so low??
I am actually having them sew cups in the dress , will put a thin roll of fabric sewed in at the bottom of the cup for a little additional boost haha

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
